Online co-op means players can play together on the listed version; it does not by itself confirm cross-play.
What platforms is Supermarket Together available on?
The Steam store listing identifies Windows 10 as the minimum and recommended operating system. It does not identify a console version or another platform edition. See the Supermarket Together Steam listing.
Does its online co-op support cross-play?
Steam lists online co-op and says the game supports up to 16 players or solo play. That describes multiplayer on the listed version; the listing does not say Steam players can join people using a console or another storefront. Cross-platform matchmaking is therefore not documented by the available official information.
Has a console release been confirmed?
No. In a Steam Community discussion on August 14, 2024, developer account DDTNL replied to a console-release question: “Nothing is discarded but couldn’t say a date for this, let’s fix the PC version first.” This left open the possibility of a console release, but confirmed neither a port nor a release date. It also did not confirm cross-play. The developer’s Steam Community reply is dated 2024, so it should not be read as a current release commitment.

What to check before planning a session
- Check the platform your friends are using; the documented version in the cited store listing is for Windows on Steam.
- Look for an explicit cross-play announcement or platform-specific store listing before assuming players on different platforms can join the same session.
- Do not treat “online co-op” or the listed 16-player capacity as evidence of cross-platform support.
