Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteAt $26.31, the black Glorious GHS Eternal is a much better-value proposition than it was at its $59.99 reference price—but the discount doesn’t make it a high-performance headset. It covers the basics with a comfortable fit, straightforward 3.5 mm compatibility and an easy-to-reach volume knob. Its sound and microphone are merely adequate, and it offers little isolation.
PC Gamer reported the black model at $26.31 on Amazon on October 5, 2026, while the white version was listed at $39.99. Those are dated prices, not a guarantee of what you’ll pay now, so check the Amazon listing for the exact colourway and current price before buying.
What the under-$30 deal changes
PC Gamer’s April 30, 2026 review judged the basic GHS Eternal to be a headset that handles the essentials but is outclassed by some alternatives at its $60 review-time price. The October deal report put the black version at $26.31, against a stated $59.99 reference price—a reported saving of $33.68, or 56%. That lower price makes its modest performance easier to accept; it doesn’t improve the headset itself. PC Gamer’s deal report
Make the decision on the price of the specific colour you want. In the October 5 report, the black version was $26.31 and the white one was $39.99. The white listing therefore wasn’t the same under-$30 deal. Prices and availability can change.

What you get
The GHS Eternal is a wired headset with a 3.5 mm connection, 40 mm drivers, a detachable omnidirectional microphone, and a left-earcup volume knob. PC Gamer’s review lists a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, a weight of 255 g, and a two-year warranty. Its 3.5 mm connection works with PCs, smartphones, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, though the device you use still needs a compatible headset jack or adapter. PC Gamer’s review
- Wired simplicity: There’s no headset battery to recharge or run down during a session.
- Convenient controls: The reviewer praised the tactile, easy-to-use volume knob on the left earcup.
- Comfort and build: The review found the fit comfortable and the construction sturdy.
- Basic, not premium, audio: The reviewer described the input and output quality as “just okay.”
Where it falls short
Sound and isolation
The review found almost no sound isolation, and the deal report says the headset has no active noise cancellation. It’s a better fit for a reasonably quiet room than for a shared space where you need to block out people, traffic or other background noise. Don’t buy it expecting noise cancelling.

- ON-EAR CONTROLS - Take your GHS Eternal on the go, with on-ear controls, you can stop, play, pause and skip your music and find the right soundtrack for your IRL main character moments.
Microphone quality
The detachable mic is adequate for calls and Discord, but PC Gamer noted that it can distort on breaths and plosive sounds. If clean voice capture matters for streaming, recording or frequent calls, that is a meaningful compromise at any price.
Is it a better choice than the RGB version?
PC Gamer’s review listed the basic GHS Eternal at $60 and the GHS Eternal RGB at $90 at review time; those are historical review prices, not current offers. The RGB model adds a 3.5 mm or USB-C connection option, a USB-C-to-USB-A dongle, a chat-mix knob, a floating headband and RGB lighting. The reviewer found the basic model more comfortable over a full day and considered the RGB model’s premium difficult to justify. At a steep discount, the basic model’s appeal is its comfortable, uncomplicated design—not extra features.

Who should buy it?
- Consider it around the reported deal price if you want an inexpensive wired headset for gaming in a quiet space and value comfort and broad 3.5 mm compatibility over standout sound or mic quality.
- Look elsewhere if you need isolation, active noise cancellation, wireless convenience or clearer voice capture. PC Gamer’s review specifically noted that the Corsair HS55 Stereo had a cleaner microphone at the same $60 review-time price, but that comparison does not establish its current price or make it a confirmed sub-$30 alternative.
Before ordering, confirm that the listing is for the basic Glorious GHS Eternal—not the RGB model—and check the colour and price shown at checkout. At $26.31 for the black model, as reported on October 5, 2026, its “good enough” sound and mic are a more reasonable trade-off than at the $59.99 reference price. If it has returned to around $60, the original review’s reservations matter again.
