The update features a new SSR version of Belorta; the anniversary broadcast is where players may learn more about the larger story-focused update teased by the developers.
When does the NIKKE Halloween update arrive?
The Little Witch Trick Halloween update is scheduled to arrive after maintenance on October 8, 2026. That is the announced schedule, not confirmation that the update is already live as of October 7. Siliconera’s October 5 report identifies the event and its featured character.
Belorta: Pumpkin Witch
The event’s featured character is Belorta: Pumpkin Witch, an SSR version of Belorta. The announcement report also mentions the Cinderella’s Most Beautiful Maid event, a Hansel and Gretel side story, and free avatar frames connected to a popularity poll. Those additional details are reported by Siliconera; they are separate from the headline Halloween event.
When is the fourth-anniversary livestream?
Level Infinite has announced the Japanese fourth-anniversary livestream for October 24, 2026, at 16:30 Japan time. Siliconera lists the corresponding time as 2:30 a.m. PT and 5:30 a.m. ET. The publisher announcement via PR TIMES describes a two-part program planned to include game news, guest activities, songs, and a special anniversary stage. These are planned elements, not a confirmed final running order.

What has been teased about the anniversary update?
Specific anniversary content has not yet been revealed. In an August developer note, director Hyungsuk Yoo said it was too early to detail the story without risking spoilers, while noting that many event scenes and new songs were in preparation. The note described the update as potentially the game’s largest anniversary update, judging by that work in progress; it did not name characters, banners, rewards, or a release date. The comments are reproduced by Nikke.gg.
The October 8 Halloween update and the October 24 broadcast are distinct announcements: one is a near-term in-game event update, while the later livestream is an opportunity for the developers to share more anniversary information. The announced dates do not establish when the anniversary content itself will release.
