What does the alleged GTA 6 4chan leak claim?
The October 2026 Reddit post reproduces claims it attributes to an anonymous 4chan poster, whom it says posted in December 2023. The Reddit post does not establish who wrote the original, whether they had access to the game, or whether the reproduced claims are accurate.
- Jason and Lucia’s backstory: The anonymous poster allegedly claimed the pair had a child as teenagers and that the child entered foster care while Lucia was imprisoned.
- Relationship and story systems: The repost attributes to the leak relationship choices and a “Criminal Profile” system that would affect multiple endings.
- Map and gameplay: The repost also refers to particular locations and gameplay systems, but those claims are not independently verified by the repost itself.

What has Rockstar officially confirmed about Jason, Lucia and the setting?
Rockstar’s official GTA VI page presents Jason and Lucia as central figures caught up in a criminal conspiracy spanning Leonida. Vice City is the setting’s focal city. The page also provides official videos, screenshots and “People & Places” material that readers can check directly.
That official framing does not confirm the alleged child, the relationship mechanics, the “Criminal Profile” system or the reported endings. In an interview covered by GamesRadar+, Rockstar senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries said, “We didn’t want to make any kind of statement with Jason’s backstory.” He added that players can decide whether Jason’s criminal choices follow from his circumstances or his nature. What is known about GTA 6’s map—and what is not?
TechRadar’s October 1, 2026, report on a Game Informer cover story names six regions: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. TechRadar also describes the game world as “twice as big as GTA 5’s world.” These are reported details from that coverage; the comparison is not a square-kilometre measurement, and neither the region list nor the size comparison proves that an alleged 4chan map image is authentic.
In the same report, Rockstar North co-studio head Aaron Garbut described the world this way: “This new world is different. We obsessed about every part – the rooftops, the alleys, the internals and everything in between to the point we hit a critical mass with the numbers of our interiors, and you start to feel the buildings are more real inside and out. Keep three evidence levels separate when assessing claims about an unreleased game:
- Officially stated or shown: Rockstar’s own page and media establish Jason and Lucia’s central roles and the Leonida setting with Vice City as its focal city.
- Attributed to named sources: Reporting such as TechRadar’s account of the Game Informer cover story supplies additional context, including the six named regions. It does not authenticate an anonymous post or an alleged map image.
- Anonymous claims and community interpretation: The story details and map claims in the Reddit repost remain attributed to an anonymous 4chan poster. Their plausibility, resemblance to later information, or popularity among fans is not independent verification.
