Amazon’s 2026 Prime Big Deal Days run October 6–7, but the available official sources do not confirm a sale price or discount for the HyperX CloudX Stinger 2 Core. HyperX lists the wired Xbox headset at a $39.99 MSRP; that is not an Amazon event price. Check the live listing for the current price, seller and headset variant before deciding whether it is a deal.
Is the CloudX Stinger 2 Core discounted for Prime Big Deal Days?
A product-specific discount is unverified. Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days 2026 lasts 48 hours, October 6–7, and that access to event deals requires Prime membership. The event ends October 7, according to Amazon’s FAQ and its event deals page. Neither source identifies a CloudX Stinger 2 Core offer.
HyperX’s US product page lists a $39.99 MSRP, not a current Amazon price. Compare the live listing price with a reliable reference price before calling it a discount; no verified savings figure or lowest-price claim is established here. HyperX’s product page also showed the headset in stock when crawled, but that does not confirm current Amazon availability or inventory.
What headset is this?
The model is the HyperX CloudX Stinger 2 Core, SKU 6H9B7AA: a wired headset HyperX describes as an entry-level option for Xbox gamers. The manufacturer’s promotional description calls it “the essential entry-level headset for the Xbox gamer looking for great sound at an affordable price.” That is HyperX’s characterization, not an independent performance assessment.

What to check before buying
- Price: Confirm the current listing price and compare it with a sourced reference price; $39.99 is HyperX’s MSRP, not a verified event price.
- Seller and model: Make sure the listing is for the CloudX Stinger 2 Core (SKU 6H9B7AA), not a similarly named headset or another variant.
- Controller fit: Verify that your Xbox controller has a 3.5 mm headset port, or factor in the cost and compatibility of a separately sold adapter.
- Setup: Consider whether a wired 1.3 m cable suits your play space and whether the headset’s listed microphone controls and comfort materials fit your needs.
- Warranty: Check coverage terms for your region and seller; HyperX lists a two-year warranty on its US product page.
