No. The claim that John Doe and Jane Doe would hack Roblox on March 18 was a rumor about March 18, 2017—not a real platform-wide attack. Roblox published a post about the myths in March 2017, and a later explainer says the predicted attack did not happen. A TikTok repeating the claim is not evidence of a new hack.
What was the March 18 John Doe rumor?
The date refers to an old online story that John Doe and Jane Doe would hack Roblox on March 18, 2017. The existence of Roblox accounts with those names was folded into the story, but the accounts did not prove that an attack was planned or carried out. Pocket Tactics’ explainer distinguishes the accounts from the false hacking claim and says the predicted attack did not happen.
What did Roblox say about John Doe and Jane Doe?
Roblox published a newsroom post titled “The Real Backstory of John Doe and Jane Doe Myths” in March 2017. Its historic URL is Roblox’s post about the myths, but the page is reported broken or removed in a March 2026 Roblox Developer Forum post. The original text could not be checked, so no direct quote or specific statement should be attributed to Roblox from that page.
Do TikTok videos prove John Doe is hacking Roblox now?
No. Videos and online speculation helped spread the historical story, but that does not authenticate a current TikTok or establish a new incident. The specific videos behind current claims have not been verified here, so their content cannot be treated as confirmation.

Is there a new Roblox hack on March 18?
The March 18 date in this rumor belongs to 2017. The available evidence supports the conclusion that the predicted attack did not happen; it does not establish whether a separate, present-day incident has occurred. A new claim needs current corroboration from Roblox or trustworthy independent reporting.
