The $139.99 price appeared in coverage of an earlier 2026 Prime Day period, not a verified live October offer. Check the current retailer listing, seller, stock and checkout price before treating the deal as active.
Is the LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 actually 30% off?
That discount is unverified for October Prime Day. TechRadar reported a $139.99 price and 30% savings during an earlier 2026 Prime Day period, but that report does not establish an October sale price. TechRadar’s earlier Prime Day coverage is historical context, not confirmation of a current offer.
To verify an October deal, compare the live checkout price with the listing’s reference price and check the date, currency, item condition, seller, shipping cost and stock status. A percentage-off label alone does not confirm the amount you will pay or whether the item is available from the seller you intend to buy from.
Which LEGO set is the deal about?
The product is LEGO Technic PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar, set 42156. LEGO lists 1,775 pieces and positions it for adults aged 18 and up. The model’s advertised features include suspension, a V6 piston engine and glow-in-the-dark light elements. These are LEGO’s product descriptions, not an independent assessment of the build. LEGO’s UK product page and LEGO’s Technic catalog provide the manufacturer details.

Is the set still available from LEGO?
LEGO’s UK product page labels set 42156 “Retired product.” It displays £169.99, but that is the price shown on the UK page—not a confirmed current marketplace price, an October Prime Day offer or a US price. LEGO and PEUGEOT/Stellantis originally announced availability through LEGO Stores, LEGO.com and PEUGEOT dealers from 1 May; that launch information does not confirm present stock. PEUGEOT/Stellantis’ announcement describes the original release.
Because LEGO lists the model as retired in the UK, current availability may depend on third-party retailers and remaining stock. Confirm the exact set number, condition and seller on any marketplace listing before purchasing.

LEGO’s official video description also identifies the piece count and mentions steering, suspension and aerodynamics.
If you are deciding whether the listing is for the right model, look for “PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar” and set number 42156. A similar name or a photo alone may not be enough to establish that the listing is for this 1,775-piece Technic set.
