Not as an officially supported, plug-and-play wheel. Logitech’s current compatibility list for the G923 family does not include Grand Theft Auto V, and Logitech says games must support its force-feedback racing wheels. That does not rule out unofficial PC experiments, but the available evidence does not establish a reliable workaround.
What Logitech’s compatibility information says
Logitech’s G923 product page points buyers to platform-specific versions, while its specifications state that games must support Logitech force-feedback racing wheels. On Logitech’s G923/G29/G920 game compatibility list, GTA V is not named.
This is evidence that Logitech does not list GTA V as a supported G923 title. It is not a direct Rockstar statement: the Rockstar support page reviewed for this question did not explicitly address steering-wheel support. The practical conclusion is that native G923 support in GTA V is not established.
Does the answer differ on console and PC?
| Platform | What to expect | What the G923 version changes |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation or Xbox | Do not expect GTA V to recognize the G923 as a natively supported racing wheel. | Logitech sells separate PlayStation/PC and Xbox/PC versions. Choose the version made for your console, but the correct variant does not add GTA V to Logitech’s supported-game list. |
| PC | Players have reported trying third-party or configuration workarounds, but those reports do not establish reliable operation or official support. | The PC-compatible variant is necessary for PC use, but it cannot by itself provide wheel support the game does not implement. |
Logitech’s Xbox/PC specifications name Windows 10/11, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One as platforms for that wheel variant; game-level wheel support remains a separate requirement.

Should you buy a G923 for GTA V?
Do not buy the G923 specifically expecting native, plug-and-play operation with GTA V. If you already own one and play on PC, you can investigate user-reported workarounds, but treat any result as unofficial and potentially dependent on your game edition, updates, and configuration. No particular workaround is established here as verified.
