Yes, but most characters do not have a universal portal straight to Suramar. The usual route is to take the Azsuna portal in your faction’s portal room, then fly or use a flight path to Suramar. If you are already in Legion Dalaran, you can fly there instead. A direct Suramar portal at the Orgrimmar Embassy has also been reported for Nightborne characters, but portal access can vary by character and game version.
How to get to Suramar from Stormwind or Orgrimmar
- Find the Azsuna portal. In Stormwind or Orgrimmar, look in your faction’s portal room. A February 2026 player report says it may be tucked into a less visible rear section or hallway, so check beyond the main room before concluding it is gone. World of Warcraft Forums, February 2026.
- Take the portal to Azsuna. The Azsuna route is a community-reported way to reach the Broken Isles.
- Continue to Suramar. From Azsuna, fly or use a flight path to Suramar. A January 2026 forum discussion also describes flying to Suramar from Legion Dalaran. World of Warcraft Forums, January 2026.
These locations and access conditions come from player reports, not an official current portal directory. If the Azsuna portal is missing or unusable, the same February discussion says it may depend on completing the Legion introduction; players who have completed it previously may be able to skip it.
Can Nightborne characters use a direct portal?
A February 2026 player report says Nightborne characters may have a direct Suramar portal in the Orgrimmar Embassy. Check the Embassy on the character you plan to use; the report does not establish that this portal is available to every character or in every current game version. Travel access is different from unlocking Suramar’s campaign
Reaching the zone and opening its quest campaign are separate matters. Blizzard’s 2016 Legion overview of Suramar describes the zone as part of Legion’s maximum-level content and says a Dalaran quest introduced players to it. That is historical expansion context, not a current character-level requirement.

A January 2026 player discussion associates Nightfallen progression with starting the Suramar campaign through Khadgar in Broken Isles Dalaran. The thread also quotes a Friendly reputation requirement with Broken Isles factions, but that detail is not confirmed there against an official current quest listing. - Check the less visible rear rooms or hallways in the faction portal room.
- Confirm whether the Legion introduction has been completed, or whether the character can skip it based on prior completion.
- Check whether you are in Broken Isles Dalaran rather than another version of Dalaran.
- Consider whether you are playing a Nightborne character and can access the reported portal at the Orgrimmar Embassy.
Portal access can depend on character progression and game version; the available player reports do not establish a definitive official troubleshooting sequence.
