You place characters in buses, cinemas, restaurants, wedding receptions and taxis, balancing their personal preferences with details in each setting. A seat by the window, a nearby air conditioner or an overly strong cologne can turn a simple arrangement into a small social puzzle.
How the seating puzzles work
Each level asks you to arrange a group of characters so that their preferences and situational needs can coexist. Some people want to sit near a companion or a plant; others may want to avoid someone wearing too much cologne. The App Store description also gives examples such as sharing sunscreen and sitting near air conditioning. The challenge is to read the clues, notice how one placement affects another, and settle on an arrangement that works.
That familiar task gives the puzzles an instantly legible premise: “Window seat or aisle?”, “Booth or table?” and “Lone wolf or life of the party?” are the kinds of choices the official listings use to frame the game. But it is still a designed logic puzzle, not a practical seating-chart manager.
Why the everyday premise works
The idea began with a 2023 talk about making games from everyday scenarios. In an Apple Developer interview, Poti Poti Studio’s Ausiàs Dalmau said it inspired the team to prototype a game about organizing people on a bus. Early versions included more complex ideas, but playtests led the developers to simplify the design.

That design choice helps explain the game’s appeal: the satisfaction comes not only from fitting people into seats, but also from seeing how their quirks play out across different situations. Nintendo describes the puzzles as having no timers or leaderboards, supporting a relaxed, no-pressure style of play.

Nat’s story links the settings
The levels are connected by Nat, an aspiring actor who travels to meet a screen character who resembles them. That journey gives the changing settings a narrative thread: the bus, cinema, restaurant, wedding reception and taxi are more than interchangeable backdrops. They are stops along Nat’s path.
Platforms and release dates
Official listings document the game on Nintendo Switch, Apple devices, PC and Linux, as well as a PS5 version. Storefront dates differ by platform and region, so they should not be read as one universal launch date.

Yes. A Steam community announcement from the Poti Poti Team says a physical edition is available for preorder in partnership with Lost In Cult. It describes standard and special editions with a disc or cartridge, plus collector materials including an essay and developer interview booklet, four art cards, an authenticity card, a poster and a Nat sticker.
