No—not everywhere. The current Call of Duty: Warzone experience remains available on supported current-generation consoles and PC. Activision is ending support for the PS4 and Xbox One versions after Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 06. Warzone Mobile is a separate service, and its servers went offline on April 17, 2026. Which answer applies depends on which Warzone game and platform you mean.
What is happening to Warzone on each platform?
| Service or platform | Status |
|---|---|
| Current Warzone on supported current-generation consoles and PC | Still listed as a playable free-to-play experience on Activision’s official Warzone page. |
| PS4 and Xbox One | Existing installs remain playable through the end of Black Ops 7 Season 06. Activision says the game will then no longer be playable on these platforms. |
| Warzone Mobile | Servers went offline April 17, 2026; the mobile game is no longer playable. |
| Warzone Caldera | Servers shut down September 21, 2023. Caldera was a separate experience from current Warzone. |
These are separate service changes, not one shutdown of every game called Warzone.

When is Warzone shutting down on PS4 and Xbox One?
Activision says Warzone on PS4 and Xbox One will be playable through the end of Black Ops 7 Season 06, then end at the transition to Modern Warfare 4 Season 1. Its Call of Duty: Warzone Platform Update does not give a calendar date for the end of Season 06, so there is no confirmed specific day to plan around.
What changes before the cutoff?
- June 4, 2026: Activision says Warzone was removed from the PS4 and Xbox One digital storefronts, ending new downloads. Some local-currency purchase options were also removed from the in-game menus.
- June 25, 2026: Activision scheduled removal of the in-game store on those consoles. Its notice says COD Points could be redeemed there through this date.
- Through the end of Season 06: Players who already added the game to their PS4 or Xbox One library can keep playing until the season ends.
The dates above are the service milestones in Activision’s notice. For the final play date, use the season-based endpoint rather than treating an unconfirmed calendar prediction as official.

Can you still play Warzone on PS4?
If you already have Warzone in your PS4 library, Activision says you can continue playing through the end of Black Ops 7 Season 06. If you did not add it before downloads ended, the June 4, 2026 storefront removal means you cannot newly download it on PS4. The same rules apply to Xbox One.
After the stated season cutoff, Activision says Warzone will no longer be playable on either last-generation console. This change does not end the current Warzone service on supported current-generation consoles or PC.

Can you continue on another platform?
Activision says you can continue on a supported current-generation console or PC using the same linked Activision account. Progression and content bought with COD Points carry over, but not every balance or purchase transfers universally.
- Some COD Points balances are tied to the platform account. Activision says unspent points on an unsupported console can be redeemed on a current-generation console within the same console family, using the same account.
- Most local-currency purchases are platform-account tied and can be used on a current-generation console in the same console family.
- Check Activision’s platform update FAQ for detailed exceptions before switching platforms or assuming a purchase will transfer.
What happened to Warzone Mobile?
Warzone Mobile is not the same service as current console and PC Warzone. Activision’s Warzone Mobile Service Changes notice says its servers went offline on April 17, 2026, and the game is no longer playable. Unused mobile COD Points became inaccessible after shutdown; Activision says refunds are not available for unused points or previously purchased in-game content.

Guest accounts used for Warzone Mobile are no longer accessible after the shutdown. Activision accounts remain usable on Activision websites and in other titles that require an account.

No. Warzone Caldera shut down on September 21, 2023, but Activision’s Warzone Caldera Sunset FAQ says current Call of Duty: Warzone and other Call of Duty games were separate experiences and were not affected. Caldera’s closure is not evidence that the current main game is shutting down.
