What is Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse?
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a 2D exploration action game set in Paris in 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. You play as Rose Belmont, Trevor Belmont’s daughter, using the Vampire Killer whip alongside other weapons and skills to explore Paris and a castle and fight monsters. KONAMI lists the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch. It is a one-player game. Its core hooks include using the whip to move through stages, collecting tarot-card Arcana after boss battles to unlock spells and special actions, and customizing Rose with seven weapon categories and magical items. The Midnight Edition’s digital soundtrack and gallery include 71 tracks and production artwork, according to KONAMI; the 71-track figure refers to that edition’s digital content, not the total length of the game’s soundtrack or a separate physical soundtrack release. KONAMI lists Japanese and English voice options. Listed text languages are Japanese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. The site gives a CERO C rating and minimum storage requirements of 8 GB for Standard Edition and 10 GB for Midnight Edition; on Switch, it lists 4 GB and 6 GB respectively. What kind of game is Ratatan?
Ratatan combines rhythm-game commands with side-scrolling action in a roguelike format. Players issue rhythm-timed commands to units called Cobuns while fighting through side-scrolling stages. Game Source Entertainment’s June 25, 2026 postponement notice sets the Japanese release date at October 15. It says the additional development time was used to improve online-play stability, fix bugs and complete console adjustments, following feedback from the Steam Early Access version. Why some listings show October 14 for Ratatan
