What is JellyCar Worlds?
JellyCar Worlds is a modern return to Walaber’s soft-body-physics series. The car squashes, stretches, and reacts to the environment, making movement and momentum part of solving each obstacle course. The game was developed and published by Walaber Entertainment LLC. Its creator, Tim FitzRandolph, returned to the series after creating the original as a hobby project. Walaber’s press kit describes the first game as an early App Store hit and says it received over 10 million downloads; the press-kit page does not state the statistic’s reporting year. How does the gameplay work?
You drive through levels built around physical obstacles, using the car’s abilities to change how it moves or interacts with the course. The official materials name six abilities: Grow, Balloon, Sticky Tires, Rocket, Signal Antenna, and Grapple Rope. The game page spotlights Grow, Balloon, Sticky Tires, and Rocket.

How is JellyCar Worlds different from the older games?
It keeps the series’ squishy physics and playful driving-platforming format, but presents them in a new game with eight themed worlds, extra abilities, optional challenges, and creative tools. It is not simply a re-release of one of the earlier games: Walaber describes it as a return to the property by the original creator. Can you customize cars or make levels?
Yes. The game includes several ways to make a run or a creation feel personal:
- Draw vehicle designs: Use an in-game canvas to draw car and tire designs. Designs, brushes, and stencils can also be unlocked.
- Record sound effects: Replace human-voice sound effects with your own recordings on supported versions. Recording is not available in the Nintendo Switch or Apple TV versions, according to Walaber.
- Build levels: Create user-made stages with the included level editor.

Is there a JellyCar Worlds soundtrack?
Yes. The original soundtrack, credited to Matthew McCarthy, is offered digitally on Steam. Steam lists it as separate content and also lists a game-and-soundtrack bundle.
