The Shibuya scenario and its three characters are part of the paid DLC, not the free update. Conversely, Ultimate Mechamaru and the stage and mode additions belong to Update #4.
What version 1.4.0 adds
The version 1.4.0 patch notes describe the free update’s Arcade Mode route, Online Co-op battles and special battles, alongside its fixes and battle adjustments. Applying the update requires internet access; online content requires the latest update data. See the version 1.4.0 patch notes.

How this differs from the earlier DLC
The Shibuya release is distinct from Hidden Inventory/Premature Death, an earlier paid DLC that Bandai Namco announced for May 30, 2024. That expansion added Satoru Gojo (Student), Suguru Geto (Student) and Toji Fushiguro. Its accompanying free update included Mai Zen’in and Momo Nishimiya. See the earlier DLC announcement.

Bandai Namco lists Cursed Clash for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The publisher’s platform list does not establish present storefront stock, current prices or whether a particular copy bundles either DLC. Check the official game page.
