K/DA is a virtual music group whose performers are portrayed by League of Legends champions. The original POP/STARS lineup is Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa. The 2020 ALL OUT era adds Seraphine as the group’s newest collaborator and guest artist, rather than replacing one of the original four.
That distinction explains most K/DA questions: each “member” is both a fictional pop persona and a champion identity, while each K/DA skin represents a particular music era or release type.

K/DA members at a glance
| K/DA persona | League of Legends champion | Group role | How the character is presented |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ahri | Ahri | Leader, founder and main vocalist | Confident, polished stage presence |
| Akali | Akali | Main rapper | Street-punk style and creative independence |
| Evelynn | Evelynn | Lead vocalist and co-founder | Hypnotic, commanding performance persona |
| Kai’Sa | Kai’Sa | Main dancer and team choreographer | Perfectionist focus with cosmopolitan influences |
| Seraphine | Seraphine | Guest artist, producer and songwriter | ALL OUT-era collaborator with three story forms |
The names are intentionally straightforward: K/DA Ahri is the group’s version of the champion Ahri, K/DA Akali is the group’s version of Akali, and so on. K/DA is not a separate set of unrelated original characters; it is a music-universe interpretation of champions players already know from the game.

K/DA functions as a virtual act built around champion personas. The group’s music videos and universe material give each champion a job within the act, a visual identity and a stage personality. The mapping matters because “Who is the K/DA singer?” can have two answers: the fictional performer is a champion, while the real-world vocal performance belongs to the artists credited for the song.

For the game’s fictional setting, the useful answer is the champion identity. Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa form the original quartet introduced with POP/STARS. Seraphine appears later in the ALL OUT material as a collaborator. Treating all five as identical founding members erases the timeline and the different role Seraphine is given in the official character descriptions.
The original POP/STARS lineup
The official 2018 POP/STARS video identifies four K/DA champion personas. They are the group’s founding lineup and remain the core reference point whenever someone says “the original K/DA members.”
Ahri — leader, founder and main vocalist
Ahri is the fox-like champion who anchors the group’s public image. The official description calls her “the leader, founder, and main vocalist of K/DA” and emphasizes her confident charm on stage. In practical terms, she is the member most associated with directing the act’s identity: she is a founder as well as a performer, not simply another singer in the lineup.

Her K/DA persona therefore combines three functions. She supplies a central vocal role, represents the group as its leader and helps establish the project’s polished presentation. When a K/DA image or performance centers on a poised front-person, it is generally depicting Ahri’s role in the fictional group.
Akali — main rapper
Akali is the ninja champion and K/DA’s main rapper. Her character description highlights a street-punk style and a brash, dangerous streak. That creative direction separates her from the group’s more traditionally glamorous presentation: Akali’s identity is built around attitude, rhythmic delivery and visible independence.

The rapper role also explains why Akali’s K/DA designs often read as more rebellious than formal. The key identification clue is not merely her hair or clothing; it is the combination of the Akali champion, rap-focused position and street-punk performance persona.
Evelynn — lead vocalist and co-founder
Evelynn is the demon champion who serves as a lead vocalist and co-founder alongside Ahri. Her official description says she uses a “hypnotic stage presence like no other.” That wording establishes a deliberately intense persona: Evelynn’s appeal is built on magnetism and control rather than the approachable confidence associated with Ahri’s leadership.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBecause Evelynn is both a co-founder and a lead vocalist, she is part of the original creative core, not a later addition. Her role should not be confused with Seraphine’s: Evelynn belongs to the founding quartet, while Seraphine joins the story as an outside collaborator during ALL OUT.
Kai’Sa — main dancer and team choreographer
Kai’Sa is the Void-themed marksman champion and K/DA’s main dancer. The official description also makes her the team choreographer and says she strives for perfection. Her contribution is therefore defined by movement, precision and the organization of the group’s routines rather than by a primary vocalist or rapper title.
Kai’Sa’s description adds cosmopolitan influences to that perfectionist focus. In the K/DA universe, she is the member whose performance work turns the group’s songs into coordinated stage productions. Identifying her as “the dancer” is accurate, but “team choreographer” is the more complete explanation of her place in the act.

Is Seraphine an original K/DA member?
No. Seraphine is part of the expanded ALL OUT cast, but the official material presents her as K/DA’s newest collaborator and guest artist. She is described as a vibrant young producer and songwriter who works with the group. That makes her a named K/DA performer in the ALL OUT universe without making her one of the four original founders introduced in 2018.

This distinction is useful when comparing lineups:
- Original quartet: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa.
- ALL OUT expanded cast: the original four plus Seraphine.
- Seraphine’s status: guest artist and collaborator, with producer and songwriter roles.
Seraphine’s identity also differs functionally from the others. The original four are described through established positions inside the group, while Seraphine is introduced through the work she brings to the collaboration: songwriting, production and guest performance.
2018 versus 2020: how the K/DA eras fit together
| Era | Year documented | Named champion cast | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| POP/STARS | 2018 | Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa | The original four-person K/DA lineup |
| ALL OUT | 2020 | Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa and Seraphine | An expanded universe with Seraphine as a guest collaborator |
The years refer to the documented music and universe eras, not to a claim that every related in-game item launched on one identical date. A skin, video, promotional image or collectible can belong to an era without sharing the exact release day of every other item from that era.
The cleanest way to read the timeline is additive. ALL OUT does not remove or recast the original four; it broadens the named cast by introducing Seraphine as a collaborator. That is why a list of “all K/DA characters” contains five champions, while a list of “original K/DA members” contains four.
K/DA skins: original, ALL OUT, prestige and Seraphine forms
K/DA skins are alternate champion appearances tied to the group’s music universe. They do not turn the champions into new gameplay characters. Instead, they give the champion a K/DA identity, with the catalog divided by era and release format.

Original K/DA skins
The original catalog covers Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa. These versions correspond to the first K/DA presentation associated with POP/STARS and the founding quartet. If a player is asking for the “classic” K/DA look, this is the group of skins they generally mean.
K/DA ALL OUT skins
The ALL OUT catalog revisits the original four champions in a later visual era. The champion identities remain the same, but the label distinguishes these appearances from the earlier K/DA versions. Comparing “K/DA Ahri” with “K/DA ALL OUT Ahri,” for example, means comparing two skins for the same champion persona across two group eras.
Prestige variants
Prestige versions are separate variants within the K/DA skin catalog. “Prestige” describes the release type or presentation of the item; it does not identify a new champion or a new group member. A prestige K/DA skin should therefore be recorded under its champion and era first, then marked as a prestige variant.
Seraphine’s three ALL OUT forms
Seraphine’s ALL OUT content is documented in three forms: Indie, Rising Star and Superstar. These are multi-form presentations of her collaboration arc rather than three different champions. The champion is always Seraphine; the form name identifies the stage of her ALL OUT presentation.
| Skin category | Champions represented | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Original K/DA | Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa | Founding-era appearances associated with POP/STARS |
| K/DA ALL OUT | Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa | Later-era versions of the original four |
| Prestige variants | Documented for K/DA releases | Special variants, not separate personas |
| ALL OUT Seraphine forms | Seraphine | Indie, Rising Star and Superstar multi-form presentation |
How to identify a K/DA character or skin correctly
- Start with the champion. The champion name gives the underlying identity: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa or Seraphine.
- Check the era label. “Original K/DA” points to the founding-era presentation, while “K/DA ALL OUT” points to the later era.
- Check the release type. If the item is marked prestige, treat it as a variant of the relevant K/DA skin rather than as a new member.
- For Seraphine, check the form. Indie, Rising Star and Superstar are her documented ALL OUT forms.
- Use the group role as a cross-check. Ahri is the leader and main vocalist, Akali the main rapper, Evelynn the lead vocalist and co-founder, Kai’Sa the main dancer and choreographer, and Seraphine the guest producer-songwriter.
This method prevents two common catalog errors: counting a prestige variant as another character and counting Seraphine’s three forms as three separate members.

Common points of confusion
Are K/DA members the same as the champions?
They are champion personas, not unrelated characters. The K/DA versions use the champions’ identities in a music-focused universe, so “K/DA Akali” means Akali portrayed as a K/DA performer.
Does Seraphine replace one of the original four?
No. The ALL OUT material expands the named cast. Seraphine is added as a guest artist and collaborator while Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa remain the original lineup.
Are prestige skins additional K/DA members?
No. Prestige is a skin variant category. It changes the presentation of an existing champion persona, not the membership of the fictional group.
Why are there several Seraphine names?
Indie, Rising Star and Superstar identify Seraphine’s three documented ALL OUT forms. They describe one champion’s multi-form skin presentation, not three separate people.
What to remember
The essential map is simple: Ahri leads and sings, Akali raps, Evelynn provides lead vocals as a co-founder, Kai’Sa dances and choreographs, and Seraphine joins later as an ALL OUT guest artist, producer and songwriter. The original four come from the 2018 POP/STARS era; the five-person cast belongs to the expanded 2020 ALL OUT universe. Skin names then add the final layer of detail by separating original K/DA, ALL OUT, prestige variants and Seraphine’s Indie, Rising Star and Superstar forms.
