Epic Games announced that Kai Cenat’s Fortnite Icon Series outfits would arrive in the Item Shop on September 12, 2025, at 8 PM ET. That date has passed. Epic’s shop page currently lists the Kai Cenat Outfit as unavailable, and no later return date is established.
When did Kai Cenat’s Fortnite outfits drop?
Epic announced the outfits on September 10, 2025, with Item Shop availability scheduled for September 12 at 8 PM ET. Epic’s announcement said, “Prepare for launch! Kai Cenat arrives in Fortnite on September 12.” That was the announced release time, not a current or upcoming date.
The official Kai Cenat Outfit shop page currently marks the outfit unavailable. The page does not establish when it might return; check Fortnite’s live in-game Item Shop for current availability.
What was included in the reveal?
Epic announced two outfits: Kai Cenat and AMP KAI. The Kai Cenat Outfit included Air Jordan 4 Retro OG ‘Bred’ Kicks, and its related accessories included Lil’ Cenat Back Bling, AMP Zap Pickaxe, and The Tylil Dance Emote. AMP KAI had its own accessories: Fire Hazard Back Bling, Rocket Recline Emote, and Pyro Rocket Pickaxe. Epic said the items would be offered individually or together in a Kai Cenat Bundle. Both outfits have LEGO Styles. These are digital in-game cosmetics, not physical apparel or toys.

What happened with the Kai Cenat Icon Mobile Cup?
Epic also announced a mobile tournament for September 12, 2025, the same day as the scheduled shop release. It was a Solo Blitz Royale event played natively on iPhone, iPad, or Android—not through cloud gaming. Participants had 15 matches during a 90-minute regional time window. Earning five points unlocked a Spray; top regional point earners could unlock AMP KAI, while the highest finishers could unlock the bundle. The event is over, so its rewards are historical rather than a current way to earn the cosmetics.

Fortnite outfits are purchased with V-Bucks. Epic’s V-Bucks redemption information explains how V-Bucks cards work, while its Fortnite gift card announcement describes gift cards as a way to fund Fortnite purchases, including V-Bucks. Neither card type makes an unavailable outfit available: check the Item Shop first.

Check Epic’s current regional and account instructions before buying or redeeming a card.
