There is no proven fastest Groschen method for every stage or playstyle in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Early on, combine quest rewards with simple smithing; dice can pay quickly, but you can lose your wager. Once Henry can handle fights and carry surplus gear, selling enemy loot and taking treasure along your route become practical. Theft can pay, but detection and resale restrictions add risk and work.
Which money-making method should you choose?
Choose by what Henry can do now, not by a supposed universal money-per-minute ranking. The guides do not provide controlled or comparable income rates. Use this as a practical progression:

- Early and lower risk: take available quest rewards and learn basic smithing.
- Early, with wager risk: try dice only with money you can afford to lose.
- After you can win fights: sell valuable surplus weapons and armor, using the horse to carry extra loot.
- While exploring: collect treasure that fits your route rather than detouring for every chest.
- If willing to accept criminal risk: theft and stolen-horse sales are options, but expect extra steps and possible consequences.

10 ways to earn Groschen
1. Complete quests and tasks
Some quests pay Groschen directly. PowerPyx lists three early brawler tasks—“Melee at the Mill” (155 Groschen), “More Melee at the Mill” (20 Groschen), and “Wine, Women and Blood” (200 Groschen)—for a guide-reported total of 375 Groschen. The same sequence includes opportunities to bet on yourself. Payouts can depend on current game state, so treat those amounts as a guide rather than a guaranteed return. PowerPyx’s money guide

2. Forge simple items and sell them
Epic says the Wedding Crashers path can introduce basic recipes, including the Work Axe and Farmer’s Horseshoes. Make items from scrap metal and sell them to a blacksmith. This route calls for recipe access, materials and a forge, but lets you earn without relying on combat or gambling. Epic Games Store’s guide
3. Take the Artisan perk and haggle
Epic reports that Artisan improves sale prices for weapons, armor and clothing by 10%. That is a guide-reported in-game figure, not a tested universal return. Haggling also matters: outcomes depend on Speech stats and perks, so improve those before expecting better deals. Epic Games Store’s guide
4. Sell valuable loot from defeated enemies
Weapons and armor can be worth selling after a fight. Keep equipment Henry needs and move surplus to the horse when his personal carrying capacity is tight; sell the extra gear when a suitable merchant is available. This method assumes you can survive the encounter and manage the loot rather than treating every enemy as a safe cash source. PC Gamer’s money guide; GamesRadar+’s money guide
5. Sell to the right merchant and build reputation
GamesRadar+ advises using specialist merchants for the relevant stock category, since they can offer better prices for their specialties. Successful haggling builds merchant reputation, making regular selling and bargaining useful as a routine rather than a one-off trick. GamesRadar+’s money guide

6. Play dice for a wager
Epic identifies an early dice opportunity at Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn and reports wagers ranging from 3 to 130 Groschen. Those limits are guide-reported and may vary with version or player state; dice outcomes are random, so a wager can be lost. Treat it as a gamble, not dependable income. Epic Games Store’s guide; PC Gamer’s money guide
7. Enter archery contests
PC Gamer describes archery contests, including one at the quarry below Trosky Castle, as a more skill-based alternative to dice. Participation still involves betting, so the risk is lower only if your aim gives you a credible chance of winning; the guide does not establish a reliable income rate. PC Gamer’s money guide
8. Gather ingredients and brew potions
Gather herbs and make potions as a non-combat-focused earning route. PC Gamer presents this as an alternative to fighting, but does not give a verified income rate. If you gather ingredients yourself, the activity can suit a low-crime approach, though its return depends on what you can make and sell. PC Gamer’s money guide
9. Hunt for hides and meat
A bow and arrows let Henry hunt; PC Gamer says hides can be sold and meat eaten. This is a slower, playstyle-based option rather than a documented fast-money farm, and the guide provides no comparative yield. PC Gamer’s money guide

These are three distinct opportunistic routes, not effortless repeatable income:
- Stolen horses: Epic describes selling them to handler Mikolai at the Nomad’s Camp. PC Gamer reports that Mikolai pays around 25% of a horse’s displayed value. Epic Games Store’s guide; PC Gamer’s money guide
- Stolen goods: ordinary stolen items have resale friction. PowerPyx describes fencing them, storing them until the stolen mark fades, or using a later Speech perk. Theft also carries detection risk. PowerPyx’s money guide
- Treasure: take it when exploration makes sense for your route. PC Gamer’s Apollonia example lists 200 Groschen, two Frankfurt Steel and other valuables in one chest; that is a location-specific find, not a general chest payout. PC Gamer’s treasure-map guide
What does early cash help pay for?
Epic lists 100 Groschen for two swordfighting techniques. That is a training cost, not a way to earn money, but it illustrates why a small early reserve can be useful. Epic Games Store’s guide
