Here is a practical lookup for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II alchemy: each recipe’s base liquid, ingredients and purpose, plus exact brewing steps where the reference provides them. The recipe list was updated September 9, 2026 and counts 22 non-poison recipes, three poison recipes and three story-DLC recipes; those are that guide’s coverage totals, not independently verified official totals.

How to use this alchemy recipe list

Use the listed base liquid and ingredient amounts together: having the right herbs is not enough if the recipe calls for a different liquid or a specific process. Recipes can differ in ingredient order, grinding, heating turns and whether the finished brew is poured into a phial or distilled.

The matrix below summarizes the bases, ingredients and reported uses in the September 9, 2026 Kingdom Come: Deliverance II recipe guide. “1×” means one unit or handful as stated by that guide. Check the in-game recipe description for its full effect.

Brewing steps that change by recipe

At the alchemy bench, stage the recipe, pour in its specified base, then add or grind ingredients in the prescribed order. Heat the cauldron for the stated hourglass turns; add any unheated ingredients after raising the cauldron, then finish by pouring into a phial or using the still as directed. The recipe guide notes that bellows restore the fire but do not substitute for hourglass timing.

Saviour Schnapps

  1. Add wine to the cauldron.
  2. Add one Nettle and boil for two turns.
  3. Grind two Belladonna, add it, and boil for one turn.
  4. Pour the brew directly into a phial.

Marigold Decoction

  1. Add water to the cauldron.
  2. Add one Nettle and boil for two turns.
  3. Grind two Marigolds and add them without boiling again.
  4. Pour the brew into a phial.

Do you need to learn or buy a recipe first?

No. PowerPyx’s February 6, 2025 alchemy recipe guide says you can follow a recipe without learning or buying it; the first successful brew records that recipe in the herbarium. Buying recipe instructions is therefore an optional reference convenience, not a brewing requirement.

Alchemy quality and version caveats

PowerPyx describes ingredients as obtainable from apothecaries or in the wilderness, with alchemy benches in larger towns. It lists four quality grades—Weak, Regular, Strong and Henry’s—and says mistakes such as heating for too little or too long can lower quality. Its guide says the Secret of Secrets perk, available at Alchemy Level 16, enables Henry’s quality.

Patch-specific certainty is limited. A helper page updated September 5, 2026 labels itself verified for patch 1.5.6 (June 2026), but its note says version 1.5.3 (March 2026) is current. That inconsistency does not establish which version it reflects. The recipe matrix was updated September 9, 2026, while PowerPyx’s page dates to February 2025; no official patch-note verification or direct in-game testing is established by those guides.
