Kingdom Come: Deliverance II drew nearly 160,000 concurrent players on Steam during its launch period. A report published on 5 February 2025 cited 159,351 players, while another report that day recorded 166,046 at its publication time. SteamDB later listed a much higher all-time Steam peak: 256,206 on 9 February 2025.
Why launch-day reports gave different player counts
The 159,351 figure was an early launch snapshot cited by Game World Observer on 5 February 2025. A separate report published that day by GameDeveloper put the concurrent Steam count at 166,046 at the time of publication.

SteamDB’s historical chart lists an all-time peak of 256,206 concurrent players on 9 February 2025, during release week. Embracer Group’s interim report published on 13 February 2025 separately described the peak as over 250,000. The exact tracker figure and the company’s rounded statement are consistent in scale, but they are distinct reports.

What the numbers do—and do not—measure
Steam concurrency is a count of simultaneous Steam users, not copies sold, total owners, or everyone playing across platforms. The game launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, according to GameDeveloper’s launch coverage; the Steam figures do not include console players.
For launch context, Embracer reported that the game sold over one million copies in its first 24 hours. That is a company-reported sales figure with a defined launch-period window; it should not be inferred from or added to a concurrent-player count.
