How to start The Reliquary
Look for the Humble Knight at his camp northwest of Sedletz Monastery, beyond a house. PowerPyx lists completion of main quest 14, “Speak of the Devil,” as a prerequisite; see its Reliquary walkthrough. The available guides do not establish a confirmed level requirement.

How to get into the monastery crypt
- Enter the monastery chapel and find the trapdoor in the floor.
- Use the trapdoor to descend into the crypt, then go to the room on the east side.
- Open and search the sarcophagus. Sir Valentine’s sword is missing.
- Examine the base of the sarcophagus. This prompts Henry to conclude that he can forge a replica.
Brother Morticius, outside the monastery, can start the linked quest “Thou Art But Dust…” and provide another route into the crypt. That quest is optional for The Reliquary: the walkthroughs also describe reaching the crypt directly through the chapel trapdoor. NightlyGamingBinge covers the linked route in its quest guide.
Forge a replica of Sir Valentine’s sword

NightlyGamingBinge reports that Blacksmith Zdimir at Grund sells all the listed materials except cow skin, which it says is available from the Kuttenberg Saddler. The guide estimates the other materials at 44 groschen total; treat that as a reported price, since stock and prices may vary. Its list spells scrap metal as “Scap Metal,” while PowerPyx uses “Scrap metal.”

Bring the replica back to the Humble Knight. He confronts Henry, and the encounter can lead to persuasion or combat. PowerPyx describes the peaceful route as a Very Hard Presence check. NightlyGamingBinge reports that convincing him earns St. Apollonia’s tooth, and that the Sword of Sir Valentine can be looted after the encounter. The guides do not establish a single dialogue response that guarantees persuasion, so be prepared for a demanding check or a fight.
The peaceful approach may secure the reported tooth reward without combat; fighting avoids relying on the Presence check but carries the risks of an encounter. The guides do not establish that either outcome is universally better.
