Ask Innkeeper Lawrence at the Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn about the Water Goblin’s hut to get the lead for The Axe on the Lake. For the separate Water Goblin’s Treasure lead, ask what the lads found and where they can be found; that conversation marks a bathing spot on the map. Both leads point toward Rocktower Pond, west of Zhelejov.
Which conversation gives the Water Goblin’s Hut tip?
At the Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn, speak with Innkeeper Lawrence. Ask what is going on around the area, then ask about the Water Goblin’s hut to pursue the hut rumor associated with The Axe on the Lake. This dialogue route is reported by The Axe on the Lake walkthrough.

How do the hut tip and the lads’ lead differ?
They are separate conversation paths, not two names for the same quest. Asking what the lads found and where they can be found marks a bathing spot on the map and leads toward Water Goblin’s Treasure. Asking Lawrence about the hut is the lead associated with The Axe on the Lake. The hut itself is a point of interest, classified as an Interesting Site in Trosky by a Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 location database.
Where is the Water Goblin’s Hut?
Use Rocktower Pond as the nearby landmark; it is west of Zhelejov. From the pond area, the route described by The Axe on the Lake walkthrough goes northeast to an intersection, then southeast through the forest toward the water. The hut is slightly off the beaten path.

If Lawrence’s conversation gives you an in-game map marker, use it to guide the final approach. The available route description gives directions rather than a coordinate or map grid, so there is no precise coordinate to follow here.
