Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was officially announced for Xbox Game Pass on February 17, 2026, and added on March 3. The preceding day, Xbox Game Pass social posts teased the medieval RPG with the pun “deliverance’d,” a clue that was decoded as the game’s title. Current access depends on your region, plan, and whether you want to stream or play on a console or PC.
What Xbox’s “deliverance’d” tease referred to
On February 16, 2026, Xbox Game Pass social channels posted a faux internal email attributed to “Melissa McGamepass.” Windows Central reported that the message included the line, “If you’re getting quite hungry for a fun adventure, all I can say is something big is about to be deliverance’d [sic] to Xbox Game Pass,” making the wordplay a hint at Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The wording was a social-marketing tease, not a statement from a named Xbox executive. Windows Central reported the tease.
When it was announced and what platforms were listed
Xbox confirmed the game the next day. In an Xbox Wire announcement dated February 17, 2026, Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass, listed Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for March 3 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Those tiers and platforms describe the announced March 2026 addition. Read the Xbox Wire announcement.
What kind of game it is
Xbox described Kingdom Come: Deliverance II as an action RPG set amid a civil war in 15th-century Bohemia, centering on Henry of Skalitz. Spurr called it “a thrilling Action RPG, set amid the chaos of a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia.”

How to check current Game Pass access
The announcement is historical; it does not establish that the game remains in every Game Pass catalog or that every plan supports every way to play. Check the listing for your country and the specific platform or play method you intend to use before subscribing or purchasing.
For one market-specific example, the Xbox New Zealand store listing checked October 8, 2026 identifies Kingdom Come: Deliverance II as optimized for Xbox Series X|S and purchasable. That listing says cloud play is included with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate, while streaming with Essential requires a game purchase. These are terms on the New Zealand listing, not a universal statement about other regions. Check the Xbox New Zealand listing and confirm the terms shown for your location.
