No. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will not be released on Android under its canceled project. Square Enix announced on May 14, 2025 that it had canceled development before the planned iOS and Android game reached a public launch. As of August 18, 2026, there is no official Android version, release date, or active pre-registration.
What happened to Missing-Link?
Square Enix originally announced Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link as a mobile title for iOS and Android. It was planned for 2024, went through closed testing, and then failed to reach a public release. Later reporting described the launch as delayed to an unspecified date before Square Enix canceled development on May 14, 2025.

Square Enix said it had become difficult to provide a service that players would find satisfactory over a long period. That is the company’s stated explanation; claims about monetization, technical problems, or specific development difficulties remain unconfirmed. Gematsu and RPGFan reported the explanation.
Was there ever an Android beta?
Yes, but a closed beta was not an Android launch. Square Enix’s April 2024 overview described a geographically limited test that included Android participants. The Android application period had already ended in that notice.

The test documentation is still available, but its existence does not indicate that testing or service is active. See Square Enix’s closed-beta overview.
What Android specifications were planned?
For the closed beta, Square Enix recommended the following Android configuration:
| Item | Closed-beta recommendation | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Android 10 or later | Beta guidance, not a final retail requirement |
| Processor | Snapdragon 845 or higher | Snapdragon-class test target; not a confirmed launch specification |
| Memory | At least 4 GB RAM | Recommended for the test |
| Storage | At least 5 GB free space | Required free space stated for the test |
Square Enix explicitly noted that requirements could change for a live version. Because no live version was released, these figures should not be presented as the final requirements for an Android game.
What kind of game was Missing-Link?
The project was designed as a location-based mobile action RPG rather than a conventional offline Android role-playing game. Its intended systems used smartphone location data and real-world movement to advance.

Can you download Missing-Link on Android now?
There is no legitimate public Android release identified in the available official and major-news coverage. In practical terms, there is no Google Play version to install and no current Android pre-registration to join.
Do not treat an APK site, emulator listing, old beta link, or social-media download as an official alternative. An unofficial file is not a retail release and introduces avoidable security and account risks. Old gameplay videos and beta pages prove only that the project was once in development.
