The PS5 KINGDOM HEARTS Collection I~III has three reported Platinum trophies across its three trophy lists. That is fewer than the PS4 bundles, which also offered separate Platinums for Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep and Re:Chain of Memories, according to Push Square, citing Exophase trophy-list data. The change matters most to completionists who want a Platinum for each game; it does not mean those games were removed from the collection.
Which Kingdom Hearts games have a Platinum on PS5?
Push Square reports that the PS5 collection presents three trophy lists and three Platinums:

- KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind
Within those lists, the reported Platinum-earning games are Kingdom Hearts, Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III. The detailed comparison comes from Push Square’s report, which credits Exophase; it is not an official Sony explanation of trophy policy.
What changed compared with the PS4 bundles?
Push Square says the PS4 bundles also had individual Platinums for Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep and Re:Chain of Memories. The PS5 release therefore offers fewer Platinum opportunities for players who enjoyed earning one for each included game. The reported difference is in trophy-list grouping and Platinum awards—not evidence that the games or their original content have been cut.

These counts describe the trophy comparison in Push Square’s report, which cites Exophase. Push Square attributes the reduction to changes in the PS5 trophy system, but the available reporting does not establish a general Sony policy explanation.
What is included in the PS5 collection?
Square Enix packages the PS5 release as three collections: KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind. The PlayStation Store describes the same three-part product; the collection is not presented as a set of separately listed PS5 releases. Some entries in the wider collection are video works rather than playable games, as identified on Square Enix’s Japanese store page, so the collection’s game count should not be read as meaning every included item is playable.
Square Enix lists October 8, 2026 as the collection’s release date. Push Square’s profile listed prices of $74.99 in North America and £64.99 in the UK and Europe; those are regional, time-sensitive figures rather than a universal price.

No. Based on the reported trophy lists, buying the PS5 collection does not provide separate Platinums for Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep or Re:Chain of Memories. Players choosing between versions should weigh the PS5 collection’s bundled format against the PS4 bundles’ additional reported Platinum awards, while checking the listing for their region and edition.
