GameSpot and PC Gamer list both codes; GameSpot credits Only Guides on YouTube for Kratos and Reddit user Gullible-Ad8788 for Geralt. These are community designs, not official Capcom presets, and the codes have not been verified in-game here, so their continued availability is not guaranteed.
Eight Monster Hunter Wilds character creation codes
Enter a code in the game’s Download Design menu. Kratos and Geralt are first because both codes are independently listed by GameSpot and PC Gamer; the other entries below are additional designs reported by GameSpot.

How to download a character design
PC Gamer describes this route for downloading a Hunter or Palico design during character creation:

- Wild New Adventure – Monster Hunter Wilds follows the story of a special Research Commission investigating the Forbidden Lands. Fully voiced for the first time in the series, the hunter is joined in their journey by a colorful cast of characters, including a Palico partner, Guild-appointed Handler Alma, trusty smithy Gemma, and the mysterious child Nata. Together, the team ventures into an unexplored new frontier where surprises await around every corner.
- A Living World – The Forbidden Lands spans multiple biomes with dynamic identities, such as the Windward Plains and Scarlet Forest, where the ecosystems shift between vibrant seasons brimming with life, and unforgiving climates where monsters fight over limited resources. - Players can also now ride atop the Seikret, an agile new mount enabling hunters to traverse difficult terrain, perform actions like sharpening weapons on the move, and switch between two weapons while out on hunts!
- Evolved Hunting Action – The series’ acclaimed action-packed gameplay is back and more exciting than ever! Hunters can look forward to tracking down monsters with an array of new moves, special abilities, equipment, and more. The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.
- Choose Hunter or Palico during character creation.
- Open the Design tab and select Download Design.
- Enter the twelve-character code and confirm.
- Choose Change Appearance to apply the design to your current look, or save it for later use.
GameSpot likewise directs players to the final tab, then Download Design, code entry, and saving the design. Menu labels or availability can differ by context or game version; follow the option currently shown in your game if it differs from a guide.
Downloading and uploading are different actions
GamesRadar describes uploading a design while changing appearance, rather than during initial character creation. That is an upload limitation, not a reason to assume downloading is unavailable during setup. Reports about when downloading is offered differ, so use the in-game menu for the action you want and do not treat an upload code as a download code.

The guides describe share codes as twelve characters. If a code is rejected, check that it was copied exactly, including every letter and number, then confirm that the design remains accessible in-game. The cited guides do not establish a fix for an expired or unavailable design.
What the codes change
These codes share appearance designs; they do not promise a complete licensed character package or matching equipment. GameSpot notes that its Harley Quinn design requires separate clothing customization. That is a specific caveat for that design, not evidence that every code needs additional changes.
