What LA Thieves officially announced
100 Thieves announced the LA Thieves’ 2025 roster on September 26, 2024. The four players named were HyDra, Ghosty, Envoy and Scrap. The team said it would compete on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and that the roster would debut in competitive play at the end of 2024.
That announcement confirmed three of the players in the original claim—HyDra, Envoy and Scrap—but also named Ghosty as the fourth player. It did not list Sender among the four players.
Sender’s role was head coach
Sender’s reported arrival was a coaching move, not a fifth starting-player addition. Dot Esports’ roster chronology dates his signing as head coach to October 1, 2024, five days after the team’s player announcement. The distinction matters: the four names in the official announcement are the players, while Sender joined the staff in a coaching role.

So the headline claim was directionally right about the three named players and Sender’s arrival, but imprecise if read as saying all four were joining as players. The official announcement clarified the lineup and the separate roster chronology identified Sender’s coaching role.

Later roster context
In a June 26, 2025 partnership announcement, Razer described the LA Thieves roster as Envoy, Ghosty, Scrap and HyDra. That later description matches the four players named in the 2024 announcement. Razer also identified itself as the official headset, controller and chair partner for 100 Thieves and LA Thieves; the announcement does not establish which specific products any individual player used.
