In WoW Classic: Season of Discovery, Large Venom Sac is an alchemy reagent used for Elixir of Poison Resistance. Classic-era references also connect it to Strong Anti-Venom. General Classic data points to mid-level spiders and scorpids as sources, but available information does not establish a best farm or verified Season of Discovery drop rates.
What is Large Venom Sac used for?
Large Venom Sac is an in-game crafting reagent. Warcraft Tavern’s Season of Discovery alchemy guide lists one Large Venom Sac among the materials for Elixir of Poison Resistance. Because recipe and trainer details can change, check the current recipe in game before gathering materials.
Classic-era recipe references also list Large Venom Sac for Strong Anti-Venom. The Classic alchemy recipe reference gives skill breakpoints for the recipe. Its associated manual reference says the recipe is taught by a manual that is a world drop from level 19–36 Azeroth mobs. That describes the manual’s source, not the reagent’s drop locations, and should not be taken as confirmation of current Season of Discovery mechanics.
Where can you get Large Venom Sac?
A database-derived Classic item guide describes the reagent as coming from mid-level spiders and scorpids, with listed creatures generally in the level 19–36 range. Its examples include Scorpid Reavers and Scorpid Terrors in Thousand Needles, Scorpashi Snappers in Desolace, Naraxis in Deadwind Pass, and spiders in Ashenvale and Hillsbrad Foothills.

These are general Classic source references, not an authoritative Season of Discovery loot table. The listed zones and rates have not been established here as current SoD data, so treat them as places to investigate rather than guaranteed drops or a recommended route. Check the creature’s current loot in game.
Is there a best Season of Discovery farm?
No definitive best farm is established. Choosing a route would require current, comparable information on drop rates, travel time, competition, and your realm’s market value; the available references do not provide a reliable SoD comparison across those factors. If you want to farm rather than buy, use the Classic creature examples as a starting point, then verify drops and availability on your server.

Should you buy it from the Auction House?
Auction House listings can be useful if you need a sac quickly, but prices vary by realm, faction, and date. A market-tracking page reports snapshots rather than a universal current price. Check your own Auction House before deciding whether buying is worthwhile.
