Before downloading, make sure you can install software with your computer account, have a stable internet connection, and can sign in to a Google account. The game must also be visible in Google Play for your account and territory. If the listing is unavailable, an emulator cannot bypass that store restriction.
Windows: install the emulator and the game
Use this sequence on a Windows computer. Button names can change as BlueStacks updates, but the workflow remains the same.

Mac: choose the correct BlueStacks route
BlueStacks documents a Mac-specific product called BlueStacks Air and describes it as built for Apple Silicon. The game-specific page also lists Apple Silicon among supported processors. That does not establish that every Intel Mac can use BlueStacks Air, so identify your Mac’s processor and verify current product support before downloading.
Apple Silicon Macs
- Open About This Mac from the Apple menu and confirm whether the processor is Apple Silicon.
- Use the current BlueStacks Air download and installation path described in BlueStacks’ support documentation.
- Install the application, open it, and complete any macOS security or permission prompts shown by the installer.
- Sign in to Google Play when prompted.
- Search Google Play for Last Day on Earth: Survival, select the official listing available to your account, and choose Install.

Intel Macs
Do not assume that the Apple-Silicon-focused BlueStacks Air path applies to an Intel Mac. The game page’s processor list and the Mac product’s current support policy are separate questions. Google Play account, region, and availability checks
The installation depends on Google Play, so availability is determined by the store listing for your account and region. Search for the game before troubleshooting the emulator. If the result is missing, marked incompatible, or unavailable in your territory, reinstalling the emulator may not change that status.
- Use a Google account that can access Google Play on the computer.

Therefore, do not treat Google Play Games on PC as a confirmed alternative for this particular title. Open the current Google Play Games catalog and search for the exact game if you want to check. The 4 GB RAM and 10 GB storage figures are minimums published by BlueStacks for the game page. They do not establish a benchmark, frame rate, loading time, battery impact, or graphics setting. No independent performance test is available here, so avoid interpreting the minimums as a guarantee that the game will feel smooth under every workload.
For a more reliable setup, close demanding applications before launching the emulator, keep Windows or macOS updated within the versions supported by the current installer, and maintain free storage for updates. If the emulator offers Android-instance or resource controls, leave them at their documented defaults initially; change one setting at a time so you can identify what helped or hurt stability.

The installer says the computer is unsupported

The game does not appear in search

- Check free disk space and network stability.

The game opens but progress is missing

Keep the emulator, operating system, and game updated when the current support documentation says the versions are compatible. Avoid modified APK files, unofficial installers, and “unlimited resources” packages: they are outside the documented setup and can expose your account or computer to unnecessary risk.
Because emulator support changes, revisit the BlueStacks requirements when you replace a computer, upgrade macOS or Windows, or encounter a new installation error. The figures on the game-specific page were marked as a 2026 page update, but they remain a snapshot rather than a permanent compatibility contract.
