To level a Sentinel into a Void Knight in Last Epoch, plan around the skills you can actually specialize at each milestone, then choose passives and skill-tree nodes for your preferred playstyle. There is no verified current “best” leveling order in the available official documentation. Warpath is a documented option, but the frequently cited detailed route dates to version 0.8.3C in 2021, so treat its exact allocations as historical rather than current advice.
How Sentinel progression works while leveling
Character level determines when you can specialize skills; you do not have access to all five skill specializations at the start. The official Last Epoch levels guide lists specialization unlocks at levels 4, 8, 20, 35, and 50. It also says characters gain passive points from level 3 through level 100, for 98 points in total.
| Milestone | What unlocks |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Passive skill points begin. |
| Levels 4, 8, 20, 35, and 50 | Skill specialization unlocks, one at each milestone. |
| Level 100 | The level-based passive-point progression reaches 98 total points. |
Use those unlocks as planning checkpoints: decide which skills you want to specialize as they become available, rather than copying a five-skill endgame setup before you can access it. The official progression page establishes the milestones, but it does not prescribe which skills to choose.
What skills should you use while leveling Void Knight?
There is not enough current, authoritative evidence here to name a best leveling skill order or claim one archetype levels faster than another. The official Void Knight skill-tree reference documents node-level interactions for skills including Devouring Orb, Abyssal Echoes, and Volatile Reversal. Those trees let you shape how a skill works; they are not, by themselves, a tested leveling route.

- Super Mario Tabletop Piranha Plant Escape! Game, Multiplayer Family Game for Ages 4+
- Game includes easy-to-assemble Piranha Plant base with game board, 2 unique Super Mario Action Figures including Super Mario and Luigi, 2 Character Plates with Yoshi & Toad stickers and game die.
- Roll the die to determine how many places your Super Mario character must move on the game board. The number you land determines the number of chances to must take against this classic villain. Watch out! The Piranha Plant will randomly attack and knock the figures off of the game board. Be the last character standing to win!
- Collectible Action Figures are compatible with other Super Mario Games including Balancing Games and Blow Up! Shaky Tower! Collect all games and expand your collection of figures!
- Great indoor family activity and game night favorite for Nintendo and Super Mario fans!
Choose nodes for the skill behavior you want
Read the current in-game node descriptions before spending points. For example, the official reference describes Devouring Orb interactions involving Void Rift and related effects, while its Volatile Reversal and Abyssal Echoes sections document their own node changes. Follow the nodes that support your chosen setup instead of assuming every Void Knight should use the same rotation.
Balance passive benefits against their costs
Void Knight passives can trade one kind of strength for another. The official Void Knight passive-tree reference documents a passive that grants 10% echo chance and 10% increased armor, while also applying 10% reduced melee and throwing attack speed and 10% increased skill mana cost. Those are specific effects, not a universal recommendation: consider whether the defensive and echo benefits suit your skills and whether the speed and mana costs fit your setup.

- Action, strategy and thrill - the Naruto Hokage Rock Survival Game from EPOCH Games provides exciting fun around the legendary Hokage Rock.
- Who manages to assert themselves on the field with their Naruto figures and defeat the Hokage Rock. The game includes four detailed Naruto figures to collect, a dice, a Kunai (throwing knife) and the impressive Hokage Rock.
- Here's how to do it: Place the figures on the field and move them in turn according to the number of dice cubes. But beware: avoid the explosion field. Whoever stands last with at least one figure on the Hokage Rock wins.
- Ideal for fans and anime enthusiasts: the Hokage Rock not only serves as a playing field, but can also be decorated as an eye-catcher with the figures in the fan display case.
- For 2 players aged 4 and up - perfect for exciting duels in the Naruto anime universe.
Can you level as Warpath?
Warpath is a historical Void Knight leveling option, not a proven current best route. A Last Epoch forum guide by boardman21, posted September 8, 2021, covers leveling from 1 to 75 with Void Warpath in version 0.8.3C. It describes Warpath as its area-damage centerpiece and other Void skills as tools for larger hits against rares and bosses.
That guide establishes that players have used a Warpath-centered leveling approach. Its version and age do not establish that its skill allocations, gear priorities, or performance claims remain valid in the current game. If you use it as a reference, compare every allocation with the current skill tree and your available points rather than following it as a patch-current build.

What about Rive or Erasing Strike?
An unofficial Last Epoch Wiki guide, crawled October 8, 2026, suggests starting with Rive until level 60 and then switching to Warpath or Erasing Strike depending on available unique items. Treat this as a lead, not an established progression rule: the official references cited here do not confirm that level-60 transition or compare those builds’ results. No supported clear-speed, boss-damage, campaign-time, or survivability figures are available for ranking them.
Use Evade to reposition, not to ignore attacks
Evade rapidly moves the character a short distance forward, but the official Sentinel skills reference says it does not grant damage immunity or prevent abilities from hitting you. Use it for movement and repositioning; do not treat the animation as an invulnerability window.

- Prepare for a playful splash! Fill the hidden water reservoir & press the skunk's tail down to reset the game. Take turns rolling the die to discover how many flowers you must press.
- After discovering your floral mission, sneak behind the skunk's tail and press the designated number of blooms. But beware - one wrong petal sends the skunk spraying!
- The last player standing without a skunk soaking wins the game!
- Get ready for fragrant fun! This game includes a skunk base to flip, a colorful die & clear instructions for hours of blooming laughter.
A practical way to make your leveling choices
- At each specialization unlock: choose a skill you want to develop, keeping the levels 4, 8, 20, 35, and 50 milestones in mind.
- When allocating a skill tree: read the current node descriptions and select interactions that support the skill behavior you want.
- When allocating passives: weigh the whole effect, including drawbacks to attack speed or mana cost where applicable.
- If following an older Warpath route: verify each point allocation in the current game instead of assuming a 0.8.3C guide still matches.
- In combat: use Evade to move, while still responding to attacks that can hit during or after the movement.
For a claim that one build is currently fastest or strongest, look for a guide explicitly updated for the game version you are playing and supported by comparative evidence; the official mechanics pages explain what skills and passives do, not which leveling setup wins.
