It weighs factors such as damage, cooldowns, area coverage, passives, mobility, control, support, and how reliably a move or mode can be used. A high placement therefore signals the guide’s overall judgment, not a guarantee that an option is best for every activity or player.

A search result for the same URL reports an October 5 update and mentions Chad and Queen of Hatred, but those additions do not appear in the opened page body. Other swords can still serve a purpose. The guide highlights Geburo, Chihora, and Cursed Love as alternatives with damage or support value, and The Black Knight for a passive support buff. It also observes that newer updates tend to power-creep older weapons, although older options may retain useful support effects.
Best abilities, powers, or fruits

For different needs, the guide places Benimaro and Shinru as support-oriented choices. Limitless Vessel offers area damage and crowd control, while Storm Esper trades some damage for area attacks and flight utility. Those trade-offs can matter more than a tier label if your build needs control, mobility, or support.
Best styles
Yhwach/Almighty and The World (Over Heaven) lead the style ranking, followed by Abyssal Karate and Star Platinum. Yhwach/Almighty has very high potential when its mode activates, but the guide describes activation as harder than with some alternatives. The World (Over Heaven) combines damage with time-stop and support utility; Star Platinum also provides time stop.

A lower-ranked style is not automatically wasted: some retain passive support value. The guide specifically calls out Saiyan as an easy-to-get damage buff, which may make it useful as a supporting choice rather than a primary damage style.
Choose a build by role, not tier alone
- Compare a full rotation. Consider burst, damage over time, follow-ups, critical damage, and any setup required to activate a form or stack a passive.
- Account for execution. A high-ceiling mode that takes conditions or practice to activate may be less dependable for you than a simpler option.
- Value utility where it helps. Mobility, time stop, crowd control, shields, and damage reduction can be more useful to a particular fight than a modest increase in raw damage.
- Look at support effects. A weapon, ability, or style with lower direct damage may strengthen the rest of your moveset through a passive or other support effect.
- Match the choice to progression and activity. The guide includes beginner- and mid-game considerations as well as end-game rankings, and frames its comparisons around both PvP and PvE. An end-game placement does not by itself make something the best early progression pick.
Does S-tier mean an item is rare?
No. In this guide, S-tier is a performance-and-utility judgment, not an in-game rarity category. The tier-list page does not establish rarity labels, drop rates, or complete acquisition requirements for its ranked options, so do not infer how rare an item is from its placement.
