PlayStation’s official FAQ says, “No, the co-op features are for two players playing on the same platform only.” In practical terms, a PS5 player cannot team up with someone on PC or Switch, and the same restriction applies across the other platforms. PlayStation’s FAQ says PlayStation Plus is required for online co-op on PS5; local couch co-op does not require it but does require two controllers.
