The Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 10 combines a striking 16-inch OLED screen with a slim, well-made chassis and capable gaming performance. TechRadar listed it below some Razer Blade configurations at review time, but that is not a reliable current price comparison: the Blade generation, configuration and market all matter, and the available evidence does not establish a matched head-to-head test. The Legion is worth considering for its screen and design; buyers should weigh its performance and thermal caveats against the exact Blade they are considering.
Which Legion does this comparison mean?
The likely subject is the Legion 7i Gen 10, reviewed by TechRadar. It is not the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10, a different laptop. That distinction matters: specifications and benchmark results for the Pro model cannot be used to describe the Legion 7i.
Razer also sells Blade laptops from multiple model years. Its official Blade 16 page distinguishes 2026 and 2025 model families, so “Razer Blade” alone does not identify a configuration for a fair comparison. Razer’s Blade 16 product page lists its model families and manufacturer specifications, but does not establish how a Blade performs against the reviewed Legion.
What did the Legion 7i cost at review time?
TechRadar’s 2026 review listed the Legion 7i Gen 10 starting at $1,779.99 in the US, £2,069.99 in the UK and AU$3,759 in Australia. The entry configuration included a Core Ultra 7, RTX 5060 and 1TB of storage; the US version had 16GB of RAM. The review listed its top configuration, with a Core Ultra 9, RTX 5070 and 32GB of RAM, at $2,179.99, £2,600 and AU$4,159, respectively. These are prices reported in that review, not current quotes or a like-for-like comparison with a particular Blade. TechRadar’s Legion 7i Gen 10 review

Before deciding that the Lenovo costs less, compare current prices in the same country and tax context, and match the RAM, storage, GPU and screen configuration. A price for a 2025 Blade, for example, should not be treated as a price for the 2026 family.
Is the Legion’s screen a real strength?
Yes. TechRadar praised the reviewed model’s 2560×1600 OLED for sharpness, contrast, color and brightness. Its glossy finish can reflect surrounding light, however, which may be distracting in a bright room.

Lenovo’s PSREF for the Legion 7 16IAX10 family lists a 16-inch glossy 2560×1600 OLED with 500 nits and 100% DCI-P3, offered at 165Hz or 240Hz depending on configuration. Those are family-level options, not a guarantee that every regional SKU or retailer listing has the same panel. Check the exact model number before buying. Lenovo PSREF: Legion 7 16IAX10
The display is a strong reason to shortlist the Legion if you value OLED contrast and a high-refresh panel. Compare the specific Blade’s resolution, panel type, refresh rate and finish rather than assuming every Blade screen is equivalent.

How good is its gaming performance?
TechRadar described gaming performance as good, but not ideal for demanding AAA games at maximum settings. The tested laptop also showed hiccups in general tasks and temperature spikes. Those findings belong to the review’s tested configuration; they are not a direct performance comparison with a specified Blade.
Lenovo’s PSREF documents the Legion 7 16IAX10 family with options including an RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 at 115W and a 24-core Core Ultra 9 275HX. Options vary by SKU and market, so confirm the GPU and processor in the listing you plan to buy. Lenovo PSREF: Legion 7 16IAX10

There are published Blade comparisons, but one often-misread example is not a Legion 7i result. PC Gamer’s 2026 Blade review reports a Black Myth: Wukong native-resolution High test in which its RTX 5090 Blade 16 configuration averaged 76 FPS, with 48 FPS 1% lows, while a Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 with RTX 5080 averaged 111 FPS, with 80 FPS 1% lows. These figures compare those two review configurations in that specific test; they say nothing direct about the Legion 7i Gen 10. PC Gamer’s 2026 Blade 16 review
For a useful comparison, look for the same game, resolution, graphics preset and testing method, and verify the GPU and its power limit in each laptop. Without those matches, a model name or GPU label alone cannot settle which machine is faster in practice.

What is the build and portability like?
TechRadar gave the Legion 7i Gen 10’s design 5/5 and described it as one of the lightest, thinnest and sleekest 16-inch gaming laptops. That supports its appeal as a comparatively portable, polished gaming machine, but it does not establish that it is lighter or better built than every Blade configuration. Compare the precise models’ dimensions and weight if portability is decisive.
What does the battery result tell you?
TechRadar measured just under eight hours in a continuous movie-loop test and reported a full recharge in two hours. The movie-loop figure is a video-playback result, not a gaming-runtime estimate or a promise for mixed everyday use. Battery life under gaming or other workloads is not established by that test.
How to choose between the Legion and a Blade
- Favor the Legion if its exact configuration suits your budget and you value its reviewed OLED screen, slim design and capable gaming performance.
- Consider another configuration or model if your priority is demanding AAA gaming at maximum settings, since the review noted performance limits and temperature spikes.
- Compare the Blade directly only after identifying its model year, GPU, regional price and display configuration. Use comparable tests for sustained gaming performance and battery life rather than treating unrelated reviews as a head-to-head result.
Razer’s own specifications can help identify which Blade is on offer, while Lenovo’s PSREF can help verify the Legion SKU. Neither source alone answers which laptop is the better value at today’s prices; that depends on the exact listings and configurations being compared.
