Lenovo has launched a genuine Diablo IV co-branded Legion Y9000P gaming laptop in China. The flagship configuration combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, an RTX 5080 Laptop GPU configured for up to 175W, and a 16-inch 2560×1600 240Hz OLED display. As of August 18, 2026, no official U.S. or broader international release has been verified.
What Lenovo actually launched
The machine is a special-edition Legion Y9000P tied to Diablo IV’s mainland-China launch, rather than a wholly new gaming platform. Lenovo supplies the Diablo IV visual identity and themed software presentation on hardware closely related to the global Legion Pro 7i Gen 10. Contemporary launch coverage describes the co-branded design and Diablo-themed wallpapers or other software elements, but the available product evidence does not establish that every listing includes a game copy, in-game items, collectible, mouse or bag.
The Y9000P name is Lenovo’s China-market branding; the comparable global family is sold as the Legion Pro 7i. That distinction matters when checking warranty, keyboard layout, operating-system language and regional support.
VideoCardz reported the China-focused launch, while Notebookcheck identified its relationship to the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 platform.

Lenovo’s product material contains an important inconsistency: promotional text on some Chinese pages mentions a 13th-generation Core i9-13900HX, while the structured fields and contemporary launch coverage identify the Core Ultra 9 275HX. Buyers should verify the exact product code and treat the structured specification for that SKU as the stronger reference rather than assuming the two processors describe one configuration. Relevant Lenovo pages include product-doc-47798 and product-doc-47695.
The RTX 5070 Ti version
Notebookcheck also reported a lower configuration with an RTX 5070 Ti, 12GB of GDDR7 and a reported 140W limit. Its launch price was reported from ¥16,999. Do not treat those specifications as interchangeable with the headline RTX 5080 model.

What the 175W RTX 5080 means
“RTX 5080” here means the mobile RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, not the desktop card. Laptop implementations can perform very differently because manufacturers set their own power limits and cooling targets. A reported ceiling of 175W puts this Y9000P configuration toward the high-power end of mobile RTX 5080 designs, but actual performance also depends on firmware, cooling and the selected performance mode.
The 16GB of GDDR7 is useful for demanding games, ray tracing and GPU-accelerated creative work. There is no independent benchmark of this exact Diablo IV edition in the supplied coverage, so frame-rate claims for Diablo IV or other games would be speculation. Testing of a related Legion Pro 7i can provide platform context, not a direct review of this co-branded SKU.

Is it overkill for Diablo IV?
For Diablo IV alone, an RTX 5080 laptop is a luxury rather than a requirement. The hardware makes more sense if you also play demanding AAA games, use ray tracing, drive a high-resolution external monitor, or run 3D and creative workloads. The themed edition’s value therefore comes from two separate decisions: whether you need this performance class and whether the Diablo IV design is worth its premium.
Price and availability
Lenovo China listings show two RTX 5080 price signals:

- ¥21,999: a Lenovo listing dated July 23, 2026, also documented at product-doc-47695.
- ¥23,499: another Lenovo listing dated July 8, 2026, documented at product-doc-47798.
Those figures may reflect different configurations, promotions, listing revisions or sales periods; they should not be presented as a confirmed price increase. Notebookcheck reported approximately ¥21,999 for the RTX 5080 model. Any dollar figure is only a currency conversion of the yuan price, not U.S. retail pricing.
The product was reported as launching in China in December 2025, and Lenovo’s 2026 Chinese listings provide current availability signals there. An official U.S. Lenovo launch, U.S. MSRP or global sales page had not been verified as of August 18, 2026. Importers may offer units, but third-party availability is not the same as official distribution.

- Windows and keyboard: listings identify Windows 11 Home Chinese edition, and the keyboard layout may differ from your local standard.
- Warranty: confirm in writing whether Lenovo or the seller will service an imported China-market machine in your country.
- Power: check the charger plug, adapter rating and whether the advertised 175W GPU limit applies to the exact SKU.
- Software: verify language and regional availability for Lenovo Vantage or Legion Space features; the available evidence does not establish a blanket overseas block.
- Returns and landed cost: calculate shipping, customs, taxes, insurance and the cost of returning a defective laptop.
- Hardware details: confirm CPU, display, RAM and SSD configuration, plus upgradeability, from the product code rather than a generic RTX 5080 title.
Diablo edition or standard Legion Pro 7i?
| Priority | Better fit | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Diablo IV collectibles and distinctive design | Y9000P Diablo IV edition | It is the genuine co-branded model with themed presentation. |
| Comparable high-end performance with simpler support | Global Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 | It is the closest mainstream counterpart and is more likely to have local warranty and software support. |
| Lowest import risk | Locally sold global model | Regional keyboard, operating system, returns and service are easier to verify. |
The standard model may lack the Diablo branding and any confirmed themed materials, but the evidence does not show a major performance advantage for the special edition. The premium primarily buys appearance, packaging and collector appeal.
Who should buy it?
It makes sense for
- Diablo IV collectors who specifically want the co-branded chassis and presentation.
- Enthusiasts comfortable with China-market purchasing and warranty arrangements.
- Players who need a high-power mobile GPU for games beyond Diablo IV or for creator workloads.
Look elsewhere if
- You need an official U.S. purchase, English-first setup or straightforward local returns.
- You are buying mainly for Diablo IV and do not need RTX 5080-class hardware.
- You value quiet operation, long unplugged battery life or guaranteed global service over limited-edition design.
Verdict
Lenovo’s Diablo IV Legion Y9000P is legitimate and unusually powerful: the top configuration pairs a 175W RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with a 240Hz OLED panel and Core Ultra 9 275HX. Its main distinction over a standard Legion Pro 7i is the co-branded design and China-market presentation, not a new performance architecture. For collectors who accept import complications, it is a compelling special edition; for everyone else, a locally supported Legion Pro 7i or another RTX 5080 laptop is the safer purchase.
