If Level Zero: Extraction keeps crashing on PC, start with the developer’s checklist: send the crash report, verify the game files in Steam, update your graphics driver and Windows, check your PC against the published minimum requirements, disable DLSS, run the game as administrator, and check firewall or antivirus exceptions. These steps may help identify or resolve a problem, but the developer has not identified one cause that explains every crash.
First, note when the crash happens
Before changing settings, identify the failure pattern. Does the game crash on startup, while loading, during a particular match or in-game event, or at apparently random times? Record the exact error text and whether the same action reliably triggers the crash. Check whether your PC meets the published minimum
Steam lists these PC requirements for Level Zero: Extraction. The hardware examples below are the exact Intel and Nvidia components on the store page; it does not list AMD equivalents. Requirements are a baseline to compare against, not a guarantee that a PC meeting them will never crash.

Compare your system with the Steam store listing. If your PC falls below the published minimum, that is relevant information to include when reporting the crash; the available guidance does not establish that upgrading a component will fix a particular crash.
Try the developer’s troubleshooting checks
- Verify the game files in Steam. In your Steam Library, right-click Level Zero: Extraction, open Properties, select Installed Files, then choose Verify integrity of game files. Wait for Steam to finish checking before launching the game again.
- Update your GPU driver and Windows. Install available updates using Windows Update and the update method provided by your graphics-card manufacturer. Restart the PC after updating, then check whether the same crash still occurs.
- Disable DLSS. If you can reach the game’s graphics settings, turn DLSS off and test again. If the crash happens before you can access the setting, move on to the other checks rather than changing files manually.
- Run the game as administrator. Close the game, then launch it with administrator privileges and see whether the failure changes.
- Check firewall and antivirus rules. Confirm that your security software is not blocking the game. Add an exception only if needed, and use the controls in your own firewall or antivirus software.
These are the developer’s published checks, not guaranteed fixes; its post does not connect any one setting to a confirmed root cause.

Reduce background conflicts for a comparison
If the crash continues, close unnecessary applications and overlays, including Nvidia Experience or Discord, then test the game again. If you have overclocked your CPU or GPU, return it to standard clocks for a comparison. Report a crash that persists
Search for an existing matching report and add your details if one is available. Otherwise, the developer lists support, the Bug Reports forum, and Discord as reporting routes. Follow the current links and instructions in its Steam troubleshooting post.

Make the report actionable by including:
- When the crash occurs: startup, loading, a particular match or event, or apparently at random.
- The exact error message and whether the same sequence reproduces the failure.
- Your PC specifications and graphics-driver details.
- Which troubleshooting steps you tried and what happened afterward.
- Reproduction steps, plus a screenshot or video if useful.
The developer requests a concise title, a description of what happened, reproduction steps, and relevant screenshots or video. A clear report helps distinguish a repeatable issue from a failure with no apparent trigger.
