Little Prince Tyger is a newly announced dark fantasy action roguelike from French developer Saltitude and publisher Team17. It is planned for PC via Steam in 2027, with a Steam Playtest window listed for October 8–18, 2026.
What is Little Prince Tyger?
Team17 describes Little Prince Tyger as a 2D, low-resolution adventure built around bow-and-arrow combat, physics-driven interactions and fluid simulation. The announcement says the game references William Blake’s poem “The Tyger.”
You play a tiny hunter sent by the Queen to find her lost son, Prince Galaad. The publisher’s overview also names characters including Sauterelle, Machiavelli and Dagaubert, and describes a dark, unforgiving world filled with strange beasts.
How do its combat and roguelike runs work?
The announced combat centers on precise archery and physics-based interactions. Team17 also describes fluid simulation and strategic action, with perks that can alter stats, fluid interactions and time manipulation. Additional weapons named in the announcement include javelins, boomerangs and throwing knives, alongside traps.
