24/7 streaming

LiveReacting vs OneStream Live for a 24/7 YouTube Channel

Both services describe cloud streaming for prerecorded YouTube content. Compare OneStream’s documented 30-day run cap and plan ambiguity with LiveReacting’s stated duration approach and current price display.

Short answer: choose between LiveReacting and OneStream Live by checking your run length, number of continuous streams, playlist needs, and whether you need live production tools—not by assuming one is universally better. Both describe cloud workflows for broadcasting prerecorded content as a YouTube live stream. OneStream documents a 30-day maximum per 24/7 run and says the feature is YouTube-only; LiveReacting describes its 24/7 plan as having no service-side duration limit, subject to YouTube’s limits. These are vendor-published claims, not independent uptime tests.

At a glance

What matters LiveReacting OneStream Live
Prerecorded 24/7 workflow Add prerecorded video or music, make a playlist, connect YouTube, then start or schedule the stream. The vendor says its servers keep the broadcast running while your computer is off. LiveReacting product page, marked updated September 2026. Choose local or cloud-stored videos and schedule a YouTube-only 24/7 stream for a selected number of days. OneStream Help Center, updated September 3, 2026.
Run-length information LiveReacting says its dedicated 24/7 plan has no service-side duration limit, subject to destination-platform limits. It also warns that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours as recordings; check YouTube’s current documentation if the archive matters. The help article states a maximum of 30 days per scheduled run.
Other workflows The cited 24/7 page focuses on prerecorded broadcasts; browser studio, guests, and encoder options are not established by that page. OneStream also documents browser studio sessions with guests and external encoder integrations, including OBS, Zoom, vMix, and Wirecast. OneStream Help Center, updated July 21, 2026.
Plan and price clarity The 24/7 page displayed a standard price of $39.99 per month when accessed October 3, 2026; promotions and billing displays can change. The pricing page accessed October 3, 2026 listed Basic at $15/month, Standard at $39/month, Professional at $49/month, and Enterprise at $139/month, and advertised a $30/month YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on. Its help article says Enterprise is required for 24/7 streaming, so confirm the entitlement and total in the current checkout before choosing.

Neither service requires a camera, microphone, or streaming computer to stay on for the prerecorded cloud workflow described in its documentation. Those devices may still be useful if you are producing a hosted live show.

Which service fits your channel?

Choose LiveReacting if your priority is a long-running playlist

LiveReacting’s described workflow is direct: add prerecorded material, build a playlist, connect YouTube, then start or schedule. Its page says the stream runs on its servers and that its dedicated 24/7 plan has no service-side duration limit. That may suit a channel that wants one continuous playlist without planning a restart at a stated service cap. The duration and computer-off statements are vendor claims; they are not an independent uptime guarantee.

Consider YouTube’s archive behavior separately from transmission continuity. LiveReacting warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be saved as recordings. If you rely on a saved replay, verify YouTube’s current rules rather than assuming a continuous broadcast will produce a complete archive.

  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Choose OneStream if you need its broader production options or a bounded run

OneStream’s guide describes a YouTube-only 24/7 workflow, using either local or cloud-stored video, with a scheduled run of up to 30 days. That is a clear planning boundary: if your channel needs to continue beyond that interval, account for how you will schedule another run and any interruption involved.

OneStream may also fit a channel that alternates prerecorded streams with browser-based studio sessions, guests, or encoder-based live production. Its support article documents those additional workflows and integrations. They are useful capabilities only if your production actually needs them; they do not by themselves settle which 24/7 plan is appropriate.

Choose neither on price alone until the feature entitlement is clear

OneStream’s help and pricing pages do not align cleanly: the help article says Enterprise is required for 24/7, while the pricing page advertises a $30/month YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on alongside its monthly plan prices. The pages may describe separate or changing entitlements. Ask OneStream or confirm the account’s checkout terms for the exact plan and add-on total before treating any figure as the cheapest way to run 24/7.

LiveReacting’s $39.99/month standard display and any promotional amount are also subject to change. Compare the current billing period and the exact 24/7 feature set, not a promotion or base plan in isolation.

A practical decision checklist

  1. Count continuous channels. Establish whether you need one always-on stream or several concurrent channels, then confirm the applicable account allowance with each provider. The cited pages do not establish a comparable concurrency limit.
  2. Map your content schedule. If you need recurring playlists or loops, confirm how each service handles playlist order, replacement, and scheduling in the interface before migrating a channel.
  3. Decide whether a 30-day ceiling works. OneStream’s help article states a 30-day maximum per scheduled 24/7 run. LiveReacting describes no service-side duration limit, subject to YouTube limits.
  4. Confirm destinations. OneStream’s cited 24/7 help guide says the continuous stream is YouTube-only. Do not assume a 24/7 feature can also send the same prerecorded stream elsewhere; confirm LiveReacting’s current destination support if another platform is a requirement.
  5. Price the exact configuration. Include any base plan, 24/7 add-on, billing cadence, and number of streams. For OneStream, resolve the plan-path discrepancy in the current account terms before comparing totals.
  6. Separate prerecorded streaming from live hosting. If you need guests, a browser studio, or an encoder such as OBS, OneStream documents those options. A prerecorded playlist does not require a camera or microphone.
  7. Check local dependency preferences. The cloud workflows described do not require a home computer to remain on. You still need to upload or select source media and configure the YouTube connection.

Setup considerations before going live

Both providers describe connecting a YouTube channel and scheduling or starting prerecorded content, but their cited material does not establish a common set of bitrate, resolution, keyframe, or encoder settings. Follow the selected service’s current setup screen and YouTube’s current streaming requirements rather than importing settings from a different workflow.

  • Confirm the source media and playlist. Check that the intended videos are available to the selected service, in the right order, and that the playlist behaves as expected before scheduling a long run.
  • Verify the YouTube destination. Confirm that the connected channel and stream destination are the intended ones, and protect the stream key as a credential. If you suspect it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube and update the connected service.
  • Plan around the archive. Whether a stream continues and whether YouTube saves a replay are separate questions. LiveReacting’s page cautions about recording streams longer than 12 hours; verify current YouTube behavior if an archive is important.
  • Review content rights and channel policies. Use material you have the rights to broadcast and check YouTube’s current copyright and monetization policies. A 24/7 format does not itself establish that a channel or its content qualifies for monetization.

What the published prices do—and do not—tell you

As accessed October 3, 2026, OneStream’s pricing page showed monthly plan prices of $15 Basic, $39 Standard, $49 Professional, and $139 Enterprise, plus an advertised $30/month YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on. Its separate 24/7 help article says Enterprise is required. Because those published pages point to different plan paths, these figures are not enough to identify the total cost of a usable 24/7 setup; verify the current checkout and entitlement with OneStream.

LiveReacting’s 24/7 page displayed $39.99/month as its standard price when accessed October 3, 2026, with promotional pricing also surfaced. Treat the display as time-sensitive and verify the billing basis and current offer directly on its page. The comparison is therefore best made using confirmed totals for the actual number of channels and features you need.

Common decision snags

“The stream is live, but I need a replay.”

Transmission continuity does not guarantee a complete YouTube recording. LiveReacting’s page warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be saved as recordings. Check YouTube’s current documentation and decide whether separate recordings or shorter runs are needed.

“I cannot tell which OneStream plan includes 24/7.”

That uncertainty is reflected in OneStream’s own published materials: its help guide says Enterprise is required, while pricing advertises a YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on. Confirm the exact plan, add-on, run limit, and renewal terms in writing or at checkout before scheduling the channel.

“I need more than YouTube.”

OneStream’s cited 24/7 guide limits that feature to YouTube. Check the other service’s current documentation for the specific destination and continuous-stream workflow you need; broader multistreaming capabilities should not be assumed to apply to 24/7 prerecorded broadcasts.

“I want to add guests or switch between playlist and live shows.”

OneStream documents browser studio sessions with guests and encoder integrations such as OBS, Zoom, vMix, and Wirecast. Confirm how those workflows coexist with the specific 24/7 setup and plan you select.
