The listed box contents are a two-metre USB-C cable with USB-A adapter, a detachable stand set at 35 degrees, and quick-start and legal guides. Sales and software support status
On March 28, 2025, Loupedeck announced that it would stop selling its product line and focus on the Logitech MX Creative Console and its ecosystem. The company said remaining Loupedeck inventory would continue through authorized retailers while supplies lasted, and said warranty claims and technical support would continue as usual. It also said Loupedeck owners would be able to use future software updates and plugins developed for the Creative Console through a shared backend introduced in software release 6.0. These were the company’s statements at that date, not confirmation of present retailer stock, current warranty terms or future support. There is a separate, later software notice. On March 26, 2026, Loupedeck announced that support for legacy software 5.8 and its marketplace would end effective March 30, 2026 because required cloud services were unavailable. The company said users on 5.8 would no longer be able to download and install new plugins from that legacy marketplace, and urged users to upgrade to 6.2.4. How do I set up Loupedeck Live S with OBS?
Loupedeck’s OBS support article documents basic action mapping and dated version pairings. Treat its specific version advice as guidance from that article, not a guarantee of compatibility with every current OBS or Loupedeck release. The company later urged users to move from legacy 5.8 to 6.2.4, so first consult current official downloads and compatibility details.
- Check your versions. The OBS support article pairs OBS Studio 28.0 or newer with Loupedeck software 5.3, and OBS 27 or earlier with compatible Loupedeck software 5.2. These are the pairings documented in the article; verify current compatibility before installing or upgrading.
- Connect Live S and open the required applications. Connect the unit by USB, launch Loupedeck software and open OBS Studio. Loupedeck’s article says the OBS icon should indicate the connection.
- Assign controls. In the Loupedeck action panel, drag an action onto a dial or button. Some actions require additional setup, so check the action’s settings and test it in OBS before relying on it during a broadcast.
- Check the connection indicator if needed. If the OBS icon has a red dot, open OBS. If the red dot remains while OBS is running, restart Loupedeck software.
- Test the mapped workflow. Confirm each mapped action behaves as intended in your chosen OBS scene and source setup before using it live.

Setting up Live S with Streamlabs Desktop
Loupedeck’s Streamlabs support article describes a workflow for the 5.8 plugin. Because the later notice ended support for legacy 5.8 and its marketplace effective March 30, 2026, do not assume this older procedure applies to your current installation. Confirm the software build and available plugin path first.
- Confirm your Loupedeck software and plugin path. Check current official compatibility information before following the article’s 5.8-specific directions.
- Run Streamlabs Desktop in the background. In the documented workflow, the app must be running for its dynamic scene and source folders to appear and sync.
- Map actions. Drag an action from the Loupedeck action panel to the desired dial or button.
- Interpret the indicator in context. The article describes a yellow connection indicator for its newer plugin and a red one for older plugin versions. Since the instructions concern a particular plugin workflow, use current support material to diagnose a current installation.

How Live S compares with Loupedeck Live
The related Loupedeck Live is a different device. Based on the listed control layouts, Live S concentrates on touch buttons and two dials, while Live provides more dials and fewer touch buttons. Choose by the controls and app support your workflow needs, rather than assuming one model is universally better. For Live S, in particular, confirm the software and plugin path you need remains usable.

The main buying risk is availability and support uncertainty: Loupedeck ended product-line sales in 2025, while the 2026 notice specifically ended support for legacy 5.8 marketplace services. Check the seller, stock, condition, included accessories and any applicable warranty terms directly; the available company announcements do not verify a particular retailer’s present offering.
