Love and Deepspace’s cocktail images are fictional promotional material, not recipes. Infold’s warning, quoted by PC Gamer, says not to recreate or consume the drinks. That matters because one image reportedly associated Datura with character Sylus, and Datura is poisonous.
What happened with the Love and Deepspace cocktails?
PC Gamer’s Mollie Taylor reported on October 5, 2026, that Infold posted character-themed cocktail imagery on X on September 29. The report associated Rafayel with a fire lily and Sylus with Datura, both toxic flowers. About 36 hours after the images appeared, Infold followed up with a warning quoted by PC Gamer: “Safety notice: All drinks shown are fictional and for in-game purposes only. Do not attempt to recreate or consume them in reality.”
PC Gamer also described fans reacting with “Hey, what the hell?” That is a reported reaction, not evidence of how the wider audience felt. The report does not identify the fire lily’s botanical species, so it should not be treated as a precise plant identification.
Are the drinks real recipes, and is Datura safe to consume?
No. The developer’s reported notice explicitly says the drinks are fictional and must not be recreated or consumed. The images are game-related visuals, not instructions for making cocktails. Do not interpret their ingredients or presentation as safe to try.

Datura, also known as jimsonweed, is poisonous. MedlinePlus’s jimsonweed poisoning guidance identifies atropine, hyoscine (scopolamine), hyoscyamine, and tropane alkaloids as poisonous ingredients. It says poison is present throughout the plant, especially in the leaves and seeds. Poison Control likewise includes Jimson weed (Datura stramonium) among selected poisonous plants and directs people who have eaten a poisonous plant to webPOISONCONTROL or a poison center: Poison Control’s poisonous-plant guidance.
Seeing a fictional image is not the same as ingesting the plant. The safety issue is real-world exposure, not the artwork itself.
