What Fuzzy Bot announced in 2024
Fuzzy Bot revealed Lynked: Banner of the Spark during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2024. GamesBeat reported that the game would enter Early Access on October 22, 2024. GamesBeat’s announcement coverage described it as a multiplayer “cozy-action” game blending hack-and-slash combat, roguelike elements, and town-building progression.
The announced setting is a distant future where humanity is close to extinction. Players join survivors and a robot resistance fighting the Combots, recruit robot allies, and develop a town. The original report described solo play as well as cooperative play, with missions for one to three players and town activity for one to six. Those player counts reflect the 2024 announcement, not independently confirmed current specifications.
When did Lynked: Banner of the Spark launch?
On March 25, 2025, Fuzzy Bot announced that Lynked: Banner of the Spark would launch on May 22, 2025, for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The developer said the launch would add five chapters and 40 additional missions. These are launch additions announced by Fuzzy Bot, not independently measured figures. GamesBeat attributed this comment to Max Spielberg, Fuzzy Bot co-founder and game director: “We got tired of building dark, gory games, so we formed FuzzyBot to make fun, vibrant worlds with a ton of action.
