Mafia: Definitive Edition is the newly confirmed native PS5 edition: it launched on August 14, 2026, and 2K advertises 60 FPS gameplay. The same confirmation does not extend to Mafia II: Definitive Edition or Mafia III: Definitive Edition. Their inclusion in a PS5 bundle is not proof of separate native PS5 ports.
Which Mafia games have confirmed native PS5 editions?
As of October 7, 2026, official sources confirm a new native PS5 edition for Mafia: Definitive Edition. 2K says it launched for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 14, 2026; PlayStation’s product page also lists the PS5 edition and release date. 2K’s announcement and the PlayStation listing both describe 60 FPS gameplay.

What does 60 FPS mean for the PS5 edition?
2K describes the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release as “the same great game from 2020, now with 60 FPS gameplay and technical improvements.” Its support article also notes improved loading times and fixes to some legacy issues. The article was published July 28, 2026, and updated August 25, 2026.
