Announced on September 26, 2025, the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x PlayStation Superdrop brought characters and worlds from six named PlayStation properties into a seven-drop collection of physical Magic cards. The planned sale began October 27, 2025; that launch window has passed, and the official status page does not establish whether products remain available now.
What was in the PlayStation Superdrop?
The crossover was developed with participation from Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Guerrilla, and Sucker Punch Productions. The seven drops covered The Last of Us Part I, The Last of Us Part II, God of War: Greek, God of War: Norse, Horizon: Into the Forbidden West, Uncharted, and Ghost of Tsushima. Each drop was announced in both foil and non-foil editions. PlayStation’s reveal introduced the collaboration, while Wizards of the Coast’s status page lists the individual products and editions.
The initial announcement named several franchises and teased “and more”; the later product listing makes the full seven-drop lineup clear. The cards reinterpret PlayStation characters and settings through Magic’s card mechanics and artwork rather than being a separate video game release.
How did the cards reflect the games?
The Last of Us
The reveal previewed Joel, Resolute Survivor and Ellie, Brick Master from The Last of Us Part I. Their Partner-Survivors mechanic was presented as a way for the two to fight independently or work together.

God of War
Santa Monica Studio worked with Wizards on two drops tracing Kratos’s journey across the Greek and Norse eras. The Greek-era pack draws on his original-trilogy incarnation, described in the announcement as “raw chaos.”
Ghost of Tsushima
Jin Sakai’s card turns his samurai-to-Ghost identity into a choice: Standoff grants double strike, while Ghost makes him unblockable for the turn. Sucker Punch creative director Jason Connell said the team wanted Jin’s silhouette and emotional journey represented, and praised the Sakai armor framed by wind-carried leaves as an important part of the game’s visual identity.

When did it go on sale, and what bundles were listed?
The announced online launch was October 27, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT / 5 p.m. BST / 6 p.m. CEST. Wizards later recorded the sale window as October 27, 2025, while supplies lasted. Its status page lists regional release dates of November 6, 2025, in the US, December 15 in the UK, and December 29 in the EU. Those are historical sale and release details, not confirmation of present-day stock.
The status page names three bundles: Platinum Trophy Bundle, Foil Trophy Bundle, and Non-Foil Trophy Bundle. It also notes a qualifying-purchase promo, Secret Lair x Twisted Metal: Sol Ring, while supplies lasted. The page does not specify how many copies were produced, and it does not confirm current availability or resale prices.

What can collectors conclude about availability and price?
The official pages establish the product lineup, announced finishes, past sale window, and regional release dates. They do not provide a comparative market price, print-run total, sales figure, or audience statistic. “While supplies lasted” describes the sale condition; it is not a disclosed quantity. Buyers looking for the cards now should treat any listing or price elsewhere as a separate current-market claim, not as information established by the announcement or status page.
These were physical collectible cards, so sleeves may be useful for protecting cards after purchase. Sleeves are an optional accessory inference, not an item named, included, or endorsed as part of the Superdrop.

- Well look who it is! Come in, come in. Don’t mind the robe. “Uncle Deadpool” is just crashing at Secret Lair for a few days. I’m actually doing a little tour of lairs, hideouts, sanctums, and strongholds and leaving ratings online. It’s been a blast.
- But I wasn’t expecting guests. Just, uh, kick back, relax, and . . . don’t sit on my red suit! It’s drying out. But check this out—Secret Lair made me my own Deadpool cards! Isn’t that nice? So pretty. This one even says, “trading card,” so you don’t forget. Anyway, make yourself comfortable and if you need anything, I’ll be in the kitchen making chimichangas.
