The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is returning to Nintendo Music as a soundtrack-library addition—not as a new game release. Nintendo says the music will be added Friday, October 9, 2026. The original Nintendo 64 game is already playable through Nintendo 64 Nintendo Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.
What is being released on October 9?
Nintendo announced on October 5, 2026, that music from Majora’s Mask will join Nintendo Music on October 9. The selection will include the main theme and music from various scenes. Nintendo’s announcement does not give a complete track list or a track count, so the exact size of the collection is not established.
This is an addition to Nintendo’s music-listening service. The announcement is not for a new playable edition, remake, or remaster of Majora’s Mask. Nintendo’s announcement does not state an exact rollout time for every region.
Where can you listen to Majora’s Mask music?
Listen through Nintendo Music, which requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Nintendo says the service is available on compatible smart devices and through a web version. See Nintendo’s Nintendo Music overview for service details.
