Use Light & Dark Ice to alternate between healing and pressure
Light & Dark Ice is Luna’s triple-shot primary fire. Aim at an ally to heal them or at an enemy to deal damage, letting you contribute to both team survival and pressure without switching weapons. A secondary reference lists 22 healing or damage per round, or 66 for all three, with falloff beginning at 20 meters and reaching 70% at 40 meters. Those figures may have changed and are not independently verified.

In a fight, keep checking who needs help and whether an enemy is exposed. Healing takes priority when a teammate is in immediate danger; when your team is stable, use shots on vulnerable opponents. Staying at a useful distance and keeping a clear line of sight makes it easier to do both.
Use Share the Stage to extend healing to a teammate
Share the Stage marks an ally so that they also receive healing when Luna heals other teammates. The same secondary reference lists a 35% healing boost for the marked ally, but the exact implementation should be confirmed in the live client because ability names and mechanics can change.
Choose the marked teammate based on the match, not a fixed rule. A teammate who is likely to be separated, pressured, or harder to reach with direct healing may benefit from the mark. Reconsider the target when team positions, sightlines, or the main threat change.

Use Ice Arts when healing or damage needs to reach through a fight
Ice Arts fires a piercing cylindrical effect for a sustained period, allowing it to heal allies or damage enemies along its path while also restoring Luna’s health. The secondary reference lists a six-second duration and a 15-second cooldown. Line up the effect with the current need: allies who need recovery, enemies grouped in its path, or a situation where Luna herself needs the self-sustain.
How should you use Luna Snow’s movement?
Smooth Skate is for repositioning
Holding forward continuously activates Smooth Skate after 0.5 seconds, according to the secondary reference. It lists a travel speed of 9.6 meters per second and higher jumps while skating. Use the movement to adjust your angle, keep distance from danger, or reach a better line to allies; avoid treating it as a reason to remain in an exposed position.
Because skating requires forward movement to activate, plan the route before you commit. The goal is a safer, more useful position from which you can keep healing and applying pressure.

When should you use Absolute Zero?
Absolute Zero is a projectile that freezes an enemy it hits and restores Luna’s health. It is useful when an attacker needs to be interrupted or a dangerous opponent must be briefly controlled. Do not spend it automatically whenever it is available: its control effect can create time for you or your team to respond.
A secondary guide lists 50 damage, a 12-second cooldown, and a 2.7-second freeze, with the freeze ending if the target is attacked during its final 2.2 seconds. These are volatile details, so verify the live rules; where the freeze still applies, coordinate with teammates to avoid breaking it too early.
NetEase’s official Version 20251212 Balance Post, published December 9, 2025, says Absolute Zero’s startup time was reduced and its projectile speed increased from 60 to 80 meters per second. This is the latest Luna-specific official change identified here, not a guarantee that no later patch has changed it.

How does Fate of Both Worlds work?
Fate of Both Worlds creates a persistent field around Luna and lets her choose between healing and damage boosting. Use the healing stance when keeping the team alive is the priority; switch to damage boosting when the team has an opportunity to press an advantage. The secondary reference lists a 10-second duration, 250 healing per second, a 40% damage boost, and a 5,000-energy cost. Those values may no longer match the live game.
Do not plan around instant toggling. The official Version 20250110 Balance Post records that the interval for switching between healing and damage was increased from 0.1 seconds to 0.5 seconds. Decide which stance best fits the next moment rather than assuming you can switch freely from one instant to the next.

In the December 9, 2025 balance post, NetEase also introduced a self-target option for Number One Idol, separate from Share the Stage. While Number One Idol is active, 10% of healing to allies is converted into healing for Luna, and Luna receives a 10% healing boost and a 10% damage boost. These are official patch-note values; confirm the ability’s current name, availability, and behavior in the live client.

The same December 2025 post documents the Chilling Assault team-up with Iron Fist and Emma Frost, including Emma’s Iced Out Diamond ability. Team-ups can change by season, so check the current game before building a strategy around a specific pairing.
What is a practical Luna Snow play pattern?
- Mark with intent: Apply Share the Stage to an ally whose position or likely danger makes the extra healing useful.
- Keep evaluating targets: Use Light & Dark Ice on injured allies, then pressure exposed enemies when your team can afford it.
- Adjust your angle: Use Smooth Skate to reposition toward a safer line of sight rather than standing still in danger.
- Respond to the fight: Use Ice Arts when its piercing effect can help allies or threaten enemies, and use Absolute Zero when stopping a threat or buying a response window matters.
- Choose your ultimate stance: Favor healing or damage boosting according to what your team needs during Fate of Both Worlds.
The best marked ally and the right moment for each ability depend on team composition, sightlines, and the enemy threat. Luna’s role is not only to maximize healing totals; it is to keep useful healing available while creating safe chances to pressure opponents.
