The global launch took place at midnight UTC on December 6, 2024. The official launch announcement gives the corresponding US times as 7:00 p.m. EST and 4:00 p.m. PST on December 5. The official release FAQ independently confirms that the servers opened at 00:00 UTC on December 6.

Is the Marvel Rivals countdown still running?
No. The countdown to the original game launch expired in December 2024. A later season, patch, or in-game event has its own date and should not be confused with the game’s release date.
What was available at launch?
