Marvel Rivals is reportedly getting a large-scale PvE event inspired by Avengers: Endgame on October 22, 2026. Polygon’s report, reproduced by Factioz, describes 50 players battling Thanos and his forces among the ruins of the Avengers Compound. No official NetEase announcement was independently verified, so the date and details should be treated as reported plans, not confirmed in-game availability.
What the reported Avengers: Endgame event includes
The event is called Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame. According to Polygon’s reporting, it is a player-versus-environment (PvE) encounter set at the ruined Avengers Compound, where 50 players team up against Thanos and his army. The 50-player figure is attributed to Polygon’s 2026 report; the available coverage does not establish how teams, matchmaking, or encounter mechanics will work.
Factioz’s October 7, 2026 article reproduces the report and says creative director Guangyun Chen described the setting and battle. The article also suggests the event may echo moments from the film, including Thanos’s “I am inevitable” line, but does not establish that the line will appear in the game.
How certain is the October 22 date?
The October 22, 2026 date and event details come from secondary reporting. An official Marvel Rivals or NetEase announcement was not directly verified, so readers should not treat the schedule as definitive. The reported information is summarized in Factioz’s October 7 article reproducing Polygon’s report.

Other Season 10.5 content reported
The same coverage lists several additional plans for Season 10.5. These dates are also reported plans, not confirmation that the content is currently available:
- October 9: an Avengers: Infinity War 2-versus-2 event.
- October 15: Halloween skins and the All Hallows Glow event.
- October 22: Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame.
- October 29: Night of Illusions.
- Date not specified in the report: an Alchemax Headquarters map for 18-versus-18 Annihilation.
How it compares with the earlier Zombie Mode
The report contrasts the planned event with a previous Halloween Zombie Mode, described as a four-player PvE event. On the reported figures, the Endgame battle is much larger in player count: 50 players rather than four. The coverage does not establish differences in mechanics, access, platforms, or matchmaking, so those should not be inferred from the comparison.
