Marvel Rivals Season 10 tier list by role
The placements below come from itsesports’ October 7, 2026 list, which uses CounterWatch all-rank win and pick data checked October 5, then considers sample size, patch direction, and coordination demands. Tiers are approximate rather than official cutoffs. Heroes are ranked within their role because comparing a Vanguard with a Strategist does not show which is stronger for the same job. How to read the rankings and win rates
The list’s approximate thresholds are S at 53% win rate or higher, A at about 51.5–53%, B at 50–51.5%, C at 48.5–50%, and D below 48.5%. A win rate means the team’s win rate when that hero is selected; it is not a measure of how often the hero personally secures a kill or wins a duel.
Several figures help explain the top and bottom placements. In CounterWatch all-rank data checked October 5 and reported by itsesports, Peni Parker had a 57.3% win rate, Ultron 56.9%, Storm 56.6%, and Mantis 56.5%. The same dataset’s lowest results were Phoenix at 44.2%, Squirrel Girl at 45.3%, The Punisher at 45.6%, Cyclops at 45.8%, and Deadpool in Vanguard form at 45.8%. These are pre-patch figures, not predictions of how those heroes will perform after October 9. The full list and methodology.

NetEase’s PC Competitive figure for Peni Parker was 58.0%, computed October 6, 2026, and presented by the unofficial fan project rivals.gs. That number has a different scope from the all-rank CounterWatch result above, so the two should not be merged or treated as competing measurements. rivals.gs describes pick rate as the share of matches in which a hero appears and win rate as the share of those matches won by the hero’s team. Why a high tier does not guarantee a good pick for you
- Win rate and pick rate belong together: a low pick rate can mean the results come from practiced specialists rather than a broad range of players.
- All-rank results average across lobbies. A hero who relies on coordination can perform differently in a coordinated high-rank team than in solo queue.
- Use tiers to decide what to practice, not as an instruction to lock an unfamiliar S-tier hero. A character you already understand may suit your match better.
What to check before using the list
- Choose your role first. Decide whether you want to play Vanguard, Duelist, or Strategist, then compare heroes in that column.
- Check the date and patch. This is an October 7 Season 10 snapshot based on data checked October 5. The official site scheduled Version 20261009 / Season 10.5 for October 9, so these placements should not be assumed to reflect that update. Check the official Marvel Rivals site.
- Match the data to your setting. NetEase’s Hero Hot List provides filters for PC or console, Quickplay or Competitive, role, and rank, along with pick and win rates. Its retrieved page displayed an update time of 24/12/30, so confirm that its live figures are current before relying on them. Open the official Hero Hot List.
- Compare like with like. NetEase’s PC Competitive figures and the CounterWatch all-rank figures used for this tier list have different scopes and should be read separately.
Season 10.5 changes to watch
As of October 8, the October 9 changes were announced but had not yet produced post-patch performance data. itsesports reported planned nerfs to Gorr, Scarlet Witch, and Devil Dinosaur, and planned buffs to Phoenix, Cyclops, Jubilee, Hulk, Hawkeye, Gambit, and Iron Man. The reported adjustments include Gorr’s Shadow Scythe damage changing from 55 to 50 and ultimate cooldown from 12 to 10 seconds; Scarlet Witch’s Chthonian Burst from 40 to 35; and Devil Dinosaur’s base health from 850 to 825. These are announced changes, not measured outcomes. Check the official balance post and fresh match data after the patch goes live before treating any placement as current.
