The next two are titled The Fist of Khonshu (2028) and The Last Guardian (2029). The titles hint at Moon Knight and the Guardians of the Galaxy, but Marvel has not confirmed the characters involved.
When is the next Marvel Zombies coming out?
The first special, The Winter Soldier, is scheduled for Halloween 2027. Marvel announced two more specials after it: The Fist of Khonshu in 2028 and The Last Guardian in 2029. Only the first has a more specific release window; exact dates for the later specials have not been announced.

Marvel’s announcement describes three specials spread across three years. It has not established whether these are formally a second season, replace a previously planned season, or mark the end of the franchise.
Is Moon Knight in the new Marvel Zombies?
The Fist of Khonshu is a clear title-based hint toward Moon Knight, but it is not confirmation that he will appear. Marvel has not announced a cast or character roster for the special, so Moon Knight’s involvement remains unconfirmed.

Who is The Last Guardian?
Marvel has not disclosed the identity of the Guardian in the 2029 special. At the New York Comic Con panel, Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum said, “I won’t tell you who The Last Guardian is, but it’s very, very exciting,” according to GamesRadar+’s live coverage. The title suggests a Guardians of the Galaxy link, but naming a specific character would go beyond what Marvel has confirmed.
Where can you watch the Marvel Zombies specials?
Disney+ is the announced streaming platform for the three specials. The announcement does not provide more specific regional availability details.

What Marvel has said about the specials
Marvel said director Brian Andrews is returning for the three specials. Winderbaum described The Last Guardian as “the culmination” and said the team was roughly halfway through animatics at the time of the panel. Those comments do not provide a full production schedule or additional plot and casting details.
Marvel Zombies began as a Marvel Comics project developed with Robert Kirkman and later expanded through sequels, spin-offs, and crossovers. That history offers background for viewers interested in the franchise, but Marvel has not announced a specific comic tie-in for these specials.
