The game includes New Game Plus with exclusive Techniques and Level Caps, story-mission replay, Nightmare Challenge scores, and Photo Mode. Insomniac said Photo Mode is available through a day-one update that requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account. Features can change through later updates.

The Store also listed a $10 Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade add-on. Insomniac’s June 2, 2026 announcement describes suits and claws as cosmetic. The Deluxe listing includes Technique Points as well, but the announcement does not characterize those points as cosmetic.

Sony says the game is available through PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, and participating retailers. A retailer’s stock, format, and current price should be checked on its live listing.
Is Marvel’s Wolverine on PS5 or PS5 Pro?
Marvel’s Wolverine is a PS5 exclusive, and the PlayStation Store marks it PS5 Pro Enhanced. Sony lists DualSense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, fast loading from the PS5 SSD, visual fidelity, and 3D audio among the PS5 features. The Store also lists one-player play, offline play, and Remote Play.

Cloud streaming is listed for PS5 and PS Portal with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription. Sony also announced a limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle, DualSense controllers, and console covers through PlayStation Direct; these are optional, stock-dependent hardware products, not required to play the game.

The ESRB rates the game Mature 17+ for Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Intense Violence, Partial Nudity, and Strong Language, and notes in-game purchases. Its content summary describes frequent blood, dismemberment, and decapitation during third-person melee combat.

What accessibility options does it have?
Insomniac said the game includes “over 100+ new, returning and improved Accessibility Features from previous Insomniac games.” Examples it named include High Contrast visuals, English Audio Description, Global Game Speed, and Strong Haptic Signals. Its feature post also describes toggles affecting dynamic blood and dismemberment and filters for English-only adult language.
The PlayStation Store lists adjustable difficulty, skippable puzzles, simplified Quick Time Events, adjustable game speed, control and tutorial reminders, pausing during offline play, and manual saving.
