The Regalith Grand Cathedral opens automatically on 6/11 and has no deadline of its own. Progress through its chambers by following key items carefully: find the Guest Room key in a hidden passage near a dying monk, keep the Sanctified Amulet for a later statue puzzle, and prepare for Zorba by preserving MP and exploiting his summoned Corpsethralls’ light and fire weaknesses.
Unlock and availability
Game8 reports that the Regalith Grand Cathedral unlocks automatically on 6/11 and that the dungeon itself has no deadline. That does not establish that every request in the area is available indefinitely; Cathedral-related requests can have separate date windows. Check each request’s own availability before postponing it.

How to progress through the Cathedral
The route is a multi-stage dungeon rather than a single straight corridor. A GameFAQs walkthrough follows the party from the mausoleum through the Prayer Chamber, Servant’s Chamber, Altar Chamber, Reception Chamber and Royal Portrait Hall, then onward to the Scepter Chamber and Zorba. Treat these as route landmarks, not as an official map or an exhaustive room list.

Find the Guest Room key
In the Servant’s Chamber, use Fae Sight near the dying monk to expose a hidden passage. Search the adjoining space for a soldier’s remains; they provide the Guest Room key. Use it to open the nearby room and face the group encounter inside. Afterward, speak with the dying monk again to obtain a key for a nearby valuable chest.
Keep the Sanctified Amulet and revisit opened paths
Collect the Sanctified Amulet from its chest and keep it. Later, use it on the object in the Reception Chamber to lower a statue. This opens access to another chest reachable by backtracking, so revisit routes that were blocked before the statue moved.

Decide whether to fight near Trance Crystals
Trance Crystals attract or generate enemies, making them a possible source of repeated fights as well as a hazard. The GameFAQs walkthrough notes that destroying a crystal can reward a Hero’s Incense. Whether to engage or break one depends on how efficiently your party can handle the enemies and whether the reward is worth the added resource cost.
Prepare for the final stretch
Metaphor: ReFantazio combines turn-based battles with real-time action and lets you customize the party through Archetypes, as described on ATLUS’s official game site. Use overworld attacks to seek an advantage when it is safe, then tailor Archetypes to the enemies you are about to face. Long runs of squad battles can consume MP, so avoid spending it freely on optional fights if you still have several chambers to clear.

The game’s day-and-night structure also makes dungeon exploration a time-management choice: ATLUS describes dungeon activity as a daytime pursuit, with bonds and virtues among the activities available at night. Plan the excursion with that larger schedule in mind, rather than assuming dungeon progress is separate from the calendar.
How to beat Zorba
The GameFAQs walkthrough reports that Zorba opens by summoning a Corpsethrall and continues summoning until two are present, then enrages them. Corpsethralls are weak to light and fire. Zorba has no weakness and resists elements other than physical and light, according to that guide.
- Remove or control the Corpsethralls. Use light or fire attacks against them, and consider area attacks when they can hit multiple targets efficiently.
- Use available turns to pressure Zorba. When the summons are under control or defeated, attack Zorba with physical or light damage rather than wasting turns on elements he resists.
- Keep healing ready. The walkthrough notes that Zorba uses stronger single-target magic as the fight progresses. Preserve enough turns and MP to recover when needed.
- Save and replenish MP before committing. The final stretch and the boss can demand both healing and synthesis skills; arrive with enough resources to use them.
This is a guide-reported approach, not a required party build. Choose Archetypes and skills based on the weaknesses you can exploit while retaining enough defensive and healing coverage for the fight.
