Why is the wait described as 13 years?
Mewgenics was revealed in 2012, and its Steam release arrived in 2026. PC Gamer reports that the project was later cancelled and restarted in 2018 with Tyler Glaiel. The gap from reveal to launch is roughly 13 years, but the available dates do not give the exact day of the 2012 reveal, so an exact elapsed-time count cannot be established.
